“Ok” Kate was a little confused as to why Tina had Bette’s son but didn’t ask.. she wanted the details that would make it all clear instead. “So how’s it going with Bette and how is Hailey?”
“Haily is better.. we had a scare but all the tests came back Ok.. her body just doesn’t absorb iron as well as it should.. we have her on supplements and she is much better.”
“Good… I was worried about her…. now what about Ms. Wonderful?”
“You better sit down!” Tina said with a giggle “Bette is wonderful.. we are wonderful! I love her so much. Before Hailey’s doctor’s appointment Bette asked me to be her girlfriend and that started the whirlwind that has been my life.. I of course said yes. So we are together. Bette told me that she may be pregnant and the next morning before I could get back with the test she was puking up her toenails. We did the test and well obviously it was positive. She told me that she didn’t expect anything from me, and I set her strait!! So we are having a baby! We told the kids, they are thrilled. We are trying to make a family, and it is almost too easy the kids are all thrilled and are getting along so well. Bette and I are doing so good that it blows my mind sometimes. Everything is perfect and I couldn’t be happier.”
Kate sat there with her mouth open and her head spinning at all the information that Tina just laid out for her. “Wow”
“Yeah I know… it is all happening so fast.. but it all feels so right!! We have talked about that so many times, and she feels the same as I do. I may be going fast, but we don’t care, we just want to be together.”
“God Tina… are you going to come in tomorrow and tell me that you are getting married.”
Tina laughed. “No we haven’t gone there yet, but we do need to figure something out about our living arrangement. For the moment we will be going back and forth between houses, but neither place is really big enough for the 6 of us.”

Love this story. So happy for Bette and Tina and the way their lives are meshing and the children love it also. Everything is going so well I just hope there is no drama to muck it up. OMG, just had a horrible thought, hope jl (can’t even say her name) does not come back into ther lives nad make a mess of things. Keep them safe and happy with everyone and everything flourishing. Great chapter. PPS

This is an exciting story with the beginnings of a new family. I love how the kids have meshed together as a family unit already.

I just got caught up with this story, and I LOVE IT. Colin is so cute, I can just see him telling Bette (with his chest sticking out with pride and the biggest smile on his face) how Momma let him set in her office and color while she was working. I hope that Bette’s time shopping with the girls is just as special. It is important that B&T bond with the others children and as a family before the new addition arrives. PPS:o).
