“6?”
“Yeah 6… Bette, Colin, Skyler, Hailey, the baby, and me”
“Wow.. the baby”
“Momma” Colin called out as he came down the hall looking for Tina.
“Momma?” Kate asked in shock.
“Yeah.. the kids brought it up, we both loved it, so we went with it. It feels so natural and right.. especially with telling them about the baby.”
“I’m in here sweetie” Tina called out to Colin.
Colin walked into the office and smiled when he saw Tina.
“Hey buddy did you find the coloring books?”
“Yeah”
“Well you can sit right over there” as she pointed to the kid size table they had set up in the office. “I want to introduce you to someone”
“Ok” he said as he set the books and crayons down and went back to Tina’s side.
“Colin this is Kate.. she is my best friend and she works with me.”
“Nice to meet you Ms. Kate” he said shyly.
“It’s nice to meet you to Colin” Kate said “You’ve got quite the little gentleman there Tina”
Tina smiled her pride beaming. “He is a sweetheart isn’t he” she said as she leaned down and kissed him on the head.
“Can I draw now Momma?”
“You sure can honey.”
Tina looked to Kate and smiled again.
“Wow” Kate silently mouthed to Tina.
“I know” she silently replied. As she thought about Shane her friend of so many years who moved to New York, and that she missed dearly. She wished she was their to share her happiness, and made a mental note to herself to call her.

Bette suddenly felt nauseas as she pulled into the parking lot of her gallery. She pulled a Preggie Pop out of her purse unsure if it was nerves or morning sickness. She walked into the gallery and was greeted by a smiling face.
“Good Morning Ms. Porter we weren’t expecting you this morning”
“Good Morning.. and please Sara call me Bette” she said as she sucked on the Preggie Pop. “Is James in his office?”

Love this story. So happy for Bette and Tina and the way their lives are meshing and the children love it also. Everything is going so well I just hope there is no drama to muck it up. OMG, just had a horrible thought, hope jl (can’t even say her name) does not come back into ther lives nad make a mess of things. Keep them safe and happy with everyone and everything flourishing. Great chapter. PPS

This is an exciting story with the beginnings of a new family. I love how the kids have meshed together as a family unit already.

I just got caught up with this story, and I LOVE IT. Colin is so cute, I can just see him telling Bette (with his chest sticking out with pride and the biggest smile on his face) how Momma let him set in her office and color while she was working. I hope that Bette’s time shopping with the girls is just as special. It is important that B&T bond with the others children and as a family before the new addition arrives. PPS:o).
