The last time they made love played over and over in her mind. Elizabeth was so tender touching her with such gentleness yet searing her with her flame. Elizabeth had made her cry out yet again in pure passion as she filled her and filled her till she knew nothing else but her essence. She took her in good measure. The honey breasts were made for feasting and she suckled them as if a babe at the breast. She licked and bit her till Elizabeth begged her to take her. She took her and still was not sated. She took her again and still would take her again had exhaustion of the truest kind not took them both in sleep.
She woke and knew she could not stay. Elizabeth was a woman of honor and with all they shared due to the meld, which claimed them; she would not shackle the woman to her. Elizabeth did not speak of love but of honor, she would free them both.
Under the guise of Princess she was not impeded when she made her way to the transport room. As First Officer her transport command to the Enterprise was obeyed without question. Lt. McCutcheon was surprised by her arrival yet readily surrendered command. She selected the fastest craft in their bay and before the shift changed was at the Curve.
She returned to her home to the surprise of her parents and invoked the privacy shield to her quarters which none of Vulcan would challenge. She wandered the dessert in the early and late hours of the day seeking the cleansing of Kohlinar. Kohlinar if successful would cleanse her of all emotion. It was the most difficult of the practices to achieve and her only hope.
Her mother caught her there in the dessert at sunrise.
“Warrior daughter of the stars what brings you to such solitude?”
“Mother, Princess of Romulus and Rhemus, I bring you greetings of Rheanna.”
Her mother blanched at the reference. “My sister lives?”
“She does while your daughter dies.”
“You are ill?” Rhaina’s heart froze.
“I am melded to the other who calls you mother and have ruptured the bond, if I live I will know you no more. Leave me.”

Been a fan of your stories for a long time. This is my favorite. You have the most amazing imagination and the writing is…you just leave me in awe. LOL Please post soon. I’m begging you. LOL The suspense is killing me. Please don’t let Elizabeth be too late to save Christina. Let her love be strong enough to reach her whatever state she is in now. I can’t believe how invested I am with all this. LOL You are too amazing K.

Every time I read an update I shake my head wondering how you so accurately capture the essence of two very different shows yet marry them together with such finesse.
