Daughters of Kirk and Spock, post 20
Peggy did not miss the look that transpired between the Royal Guardian and her sister’s daughter, however brief.
“While the meld is unbreakable if the incentive is strong enough it can be bent, or hasn’t Christina shared that with you Elizabeth?”
“I have no desire to bend or alter our bond in anyway” Elizabeth returned ignoring Peggy’s insinuation that Christina had been less than forthcoming. It was truth that Vulcans could not lie but they could withhold truth.
“You could have a galaxy at your feet, a fleet of starships under your command rather than one paltry vessel. I believe your talents are not properly appreciated by Starfleet or has the power shifted to another since I was last in the Milky Way?”
“Starfleet appreciates me well enough, as does your sister’s daughter who by the way is my second mother.”
“Really?” This was intriguing. “How is that Guardian?”
“My sire James T. Kirk and Christina’s father, Spock of Vulcan served together and bonded in their own way during their Starfleet days.”
“Kirk and Spock? You are the daughters of Kirk and Spock?” Peggy was clearly astounded. The most legendary Starship command team sired this couple. “Daughter of my sister, your Sire is Spock of Vulcan, Galactic Scientist of the First Order, Starfleet Officer and First Officer and friend of Kirk?”
“He is.” Christina responded slowly. This information clearly made a difference.
“My sister is life bonded to this Spock of Vulcan?”
“Yes, sister of my mother.” Christina answered patiently.
“Unbelievable.” Peggy circled the suite trying to absorb this information. She had wound up in the Spectrum inadvertently seeking this Spock of Vulcan who had impregnated her sister and left her to fend for herself. Her arrival in the Spectrum new to space flight made her a natural leader and she was quickly impressed into her current role of Queen of the Spectrum. Her ship had been compromised and she was unable to return to the Milky Way Galaxy and after a time she lost the desire to leave even when return became possible.
“How did my sister find your sire again?”
“He found her.” Christina replied. “He and Kirk took a vessel into Romulan space and found her through the bond my mother and sire created. That bond my have been me.”

Christina must have misstaken Bette’s comment for honor and not the love she feels for her. Hopefully Bette can find her and explain her true feelings. PS
You know, many have held that Kirk and Spock were indeed, uh, bonded. But with all that royalty flying around, I suppose that old “heir and a spare” stuff needed to be accommodated. So wait, who’s the one likely to die if the bond is broken? Math may not be my strongest suit.
I think you’re right OneStorm1, Bette needs to tell Christina that she wants and NEEDS to be with her not out of obligation but LOVE. Please make this happen soon!
Nooooooooo, Elizabeth you should have told her that you couldn’t live without her instead of saying it was because you couldn’t dace her parents! Where would she go? They are on a ship…is there somewhere she could beam down to or perhaps she takes a shuttlecraft. You are wonderful Kelika and this story is brilliant! Have fun at whatever you will be doing tonight and we’ll wait patiently for your next update!
I’m usually a silent reader but I had to let you know that this is a great story. I actually went an looked at some old Star Trek shows so that I could truly understand most of it. Great writing
Just where the devil’s kingdom did Christina go? Elizabeth has to find her before Christina perishes from the living.
just finished getting caught up with this story, what a great twist for our favorite characters. i think you have done a great job with a whole new version of our favorite couple, great, great job!!!!!
I can’t think of a single reason why Christina would assume that Elizabeth wants to break the meld. The real princess is a non-entity in the captain’s book. I assume Henry and Port, rather than helping, are standing around, holding their…nevermind. Thanks!
Okay, what the hell’s going on, has Tina run away from Bette? They ‘re gonna chase each other thru space. Awwww hell. Bette is so much in love with Tina, just as Tina is in love with her. Why run now? PPS
Please don’t let Christina try to break the meld…if she does try, make sure Bette gets there in time…do not let their melding break! I BEG YOU!
sounds like a misunderstanding..Bette needs to be more forthcoming about her feelings..
Bette needs to go find her woman and tell her exactly how she feels….how much she loves her. pps
Dang Christina had to leave just like that not waiting for Bette to explain and tell her she LOVES her,,,,geez K this is getting better and better,,lol loved it
Oy,following this lineage is getting too complicated to me–especially at seven in the morning. But this story, despite my lack of trekkie knowledge, is really, really terrific. Thanks Kelika.
Maybe Christina just went out to find her mother… to shake her until she coughs up some details! – C has a royal pedigree and a missing aunt, what else hasn’t mom told her?! – (Boy, those Romulans can really keep a secret!…;-)
Just let Bette find Tina and tell her of her great love for her. thanks
Ok here is the thing,I know nothing of Star trek absolutely nothing, and uh well 92.3% of the time (depending on which chapter)I have no idea what is being said, but I do understand melding….yes indeed!,but this bonding thing I just don’t get. So uh,where did the princess thrice over “gone” to? Elizabeth ,Elizabeth, Elizabeth, you and that mouth of yours, how are you going to face her mother when there is a 0% chance of you surviving if the “Princess Trice Over” dies?
This is great and hope Bette found Tina soon!
