Tina smiled.

T: Hey, Jack.

Jack: Hey, Tina.

They shook hands.

Kato: Hey aunt T.

Tina: Hey, Kat.

Tina hugged the girl who was quite tall for her age. She looked like she was the same age as Tina. (16-17).

T: This is Bette everyone.

A porter-smile appeared.

B: Hi. Let’s sit down, eh?

Everyone took place at the table and said hello to the two kids.

Kato: They are so beautiful, Aunt T.

T: Thanks, we are very happy with them.

Tina saw Jack frown at the ‘we’ part but she decided not to react.

B: We are.

Kato smiled at Bette.

K: What do you study, Bette?

B: Art History. I’m planning on working in a gallery and eventually open my own one.

K: Art isn’t really my thing. I want to study philosophy.

B: Thad’s interesting.

J: Girl, you can’t find a job in that department.

B: Well, when I was 14 I wanted to go to the circus. Maybe she will change her mind and want to become teacher or something.

Thad moment the parents arrived and came over to the table. The mothers name was Reese and the father’s name was Jerry.

R: Hey, how is everyone?

‘Good’s, “Great’s and a “Chill” from Kato where the answers.

J: How are the two little ones?

Jerry bended down and kissed both kids on the cheek.

T: Good, good. How are you two?

Tina hugged her mom and dad.

T: Mom, Dad. This is my girlfriend and the mother of my children, Bette Porter.

Bette and Reese shake hands.

R: Nice to meet you.

B: Nice to meet you two.

Jerry shook Bette hand two.

J: Hi, Ms. Porter.

B: Hello, Mr. Kennard. Please call me Bette.

J: Thank you. Call me Jerry.

B: Sure, thanks.

The slightly older couple took place at the table. There was small talk all around. Kit arrived at the table to take the orders.

B: Oh, everyone. This is my sister Kit.

Kit: Hi. Uhm, van I take your orders, please.

The table ordered and Kit leaved.

R: She’s a lot darker then you Bette.

B: Yes, my mother is white and hers is black.

She smiled at the woman to indicate that she didn’t ask something wrong.
