    Don’t Fade Away Ch. 9

Shane woke up to an empty bed. She looked to her side and sighed. She fell back onto her back and rubbed her forehead. She got up slowly and stretched. She grabbed some clothes off the floor and threw them on. She started to walk away, but noticed a note hanging from her mirror. She snatched it off and began to read.

-Sorry that I left after, but I had to get home. I’ll see you later.

                Love you,

                Carmen.

Shane sat the piece of paper on her dresser and walked out of the room. Shane walked into the living room and saw Mark sitting on the couch with a blonde.

Mark looked up and smiled. “Hey sleeping beauty, it’s about time you woke up.”

Shane scratched her head and took sat down in the love chair. “What time is it?”

Mark looked at his watch. “It’s after five.” Shane looked at the blonde and then at Mark. She smiled at Mark and mouthed Elena. He nodded his head yes and looked at the TV. She laughed to herself. “Oh yeah, Bette’s having a get-together at her house again. She stopped by to see if you wanted to come over.”

    “What time?”

    “Eight.”

“I’ll be there.” Shane put her feet up on the seat and continued to watch TV.

Carmen looked in the mirror for last minute fix. She sat the brush down and walked out of the bathroom. Olivia walked into the room and stood in the middle of the room.

“Babe, do you think I’m a little too dressed up?”

Carmen smiled and looked at Olivia. “Liv, you look fine. It’s just the girls at Bette and Tina’s. You don’t have to impress anyone.”

Olivia wrapped her arms around her waist. “Ok, as long as I impress you right.”

“Right.” They kissed each other and pulled away. “Okay, are you ready to go?”

Olivia walked away and grabbed her jacket off the bed. “Yeah, lets go.”

The women were sitting around, listening to the sound of Prince’s “If I was your Girlfriend.” Shane walked out of the kitchen with a beer in hand. She smiled when she saw her friends laughing and having a good time. She walked into the living room and took a seat on the couch.

    1. Although I want Carmen w/ Shane I’m glad you’re not rushing to put them back together. They could discuss what broke them up in the first place. Luv the chap. glad Carmen left her a note after their romp session.

    2. Another great installment to this story. I love that Shane and Carmen love each other so much that they can’t keep their hands off each other. But Carmen has to ‘fess up to Olivia and get back to her life with Shane. She can’t keep stringing along both Shane and Olivia. Post more soon. Thanks.
