Chapter 10
Bette clutched Tina’s hand as they waited for the door to open. She was still worried about her lover and how upset she had been after she had come back from the dirtbag that was her husband. She had expected things wouldn’t go easy, but she hadn’t thought it would be this bad. She was still raging with fury only thinking about the moron’s behaviour, how he had treated her love… and she felt guilty for not being there with Tina. He could have seriously hurt her physically and there’d be nothing she would have been able to do. Of course she understood that going along with the woman you have an affair with when she goes to end it with her husband wasn’t really sensitive, but after what she had heard she didn’t really care.
“Darlings!” Helene smiled widely. “I thought you’d never make it.”
Helena hugged both of her friends and invited them in. Bette was looking around to see what her place looked like – of course, Tina had seen it plenty of times. The blonde was tugging her hand in a gesture she should make a move and Bette diverted her eyes from the beautiful artwork that was hung up on the walls.
“Those paintings and pictures are really beautiful,” Bette said once they had caught up with the British woman. “A lot of them look expensive as hell, too.”
“If you’ve got money, you might as well spend it on beauty, I daresay.”
“Altough she knows I’d rather she gave more of it to charity if she finds no better purpose for it than art,” Lara said, entering the kitchen as well.

i still wonder what henry is going to do… i don’t trust him… i hope he doesn’t try to turn elizabeth against tina or bette… at least she has all of the girls around for help… PPS

Elisabeth should probably go to Europe with them. Bring a kid sitter or something. They need to gel together as a family.
Henry works at cac,as a maintance man. Not a lot of money. So if Tina leaves him he will lose a lot of money,a maid, cook,housekeeper,a bed partner,so He will cause so trouble. There will be frama ahead for the ladies. except she has the gang behind her. Hate to fool with them thanks
