“We can fix this right? I know it won’t be easy, but we can fix this, right?”
Dana
lifted her head slightly and kissed the top of Alice’s, “I don’t know.
I really wish I could say yes, but I just don’t know how to, Al.”
Alice
sat up on leaned on her elbow, looking down at Dana. She studied her
and felt an anger grow inside of her. She wasn’t sure why, probably
just all of the emotion through the last few hours. “You don’t know?
What was that, just a mercy *****?!?!”
Dana recoiled at the words, never hearing anything that spiteful from Alice, “Al, of course not, how could you think that?”
“Well,
what the ***** else could it be? We have like the most incredible *****
but you still don’t want me. It was like you just felt sorry for me.”
“Baby, don’t ever think that. No. I wanted you, I needed you. I just needed to feel you.”
“Know
what Dana? None of this makes any ***** sense to me. You want me so
much but you are willing to just push me aside, and for no reason. No
reason, Dane, what do you expect me to think?”
“Alice, you know I would never do this without a reason.”
“Really, then tell me the reason, Dane. Because I have to say this whole I can’t talk about it thing is wearing damn thin.”
Dana’s
frustration and anger was growing. Why wouldn’t anyone trust her when
she said she was doing this for Alice? She was getting pissed.
“You want to know why, Alice? Are you sure?” Dana spat out.
“Yes, Dana, I do.”
“Fine.”
Dana reached over Alice, grabbed her jeans and pulled a piece of paper
from her pocket. “You want to know why? Here. Here is why.” Dana
yelled, throwing the letter at Alice.
Chapter 24
Dana
immediately regretted her decision and realized that in an instant,
months of trying to hide this from Alice were about to go out the
window. Suddenly, months of stress, fear and guilt, all of which, she
was glad to feel if it kept the trouble to herself, and not Alice, was
about to be an utter waste because Dana wasn’t strong enough to resist
the baiting. She knew Alice was going to ride her to understand. She
knew that Alice wasn’t the type to just let it all go. She was going to
require a reason, Dana had just hoped that she would have come up with
a better answer. Unfortunately, Dana was not a good liar and Dana could
never stand to see Alice hurt. All around, not a plus for trying to
keep Alice in the dark.

Oh so happy to see you back! Finally I can let some of my hair grow back, I said some cause I have a feeling you wouldn’t let us off the hook so easily. Not that I don’t enjoy the torture, you should know how to keep a girl hanging on, awesome update Cid!
I don’t know if you know this, but I almost sent out a search party for you. Glad to see you back. I was down to a few crackers, so now that I know somewhat our Dana and Alice are OK, I guess I can go buy food. Great as always looking foward to your next update. Deb

I think that best explains how I feel about Dana’s nameless tormenter. Hopefully now that Alice knows about the situation the authorities can get involved to help both our girls.

Luce, you are a master at this! At page 1 I was both relieved and then scared. By the time I got to page two and three I find myself yelling “What the hell else is wrong!” And by page four, I’m crying because the page is blank!
