Arent you going to put some clothes on? Marina asked laughing.

Nah I think Ill live on the edge and cook bacon in the buff, Cecilia responded blowing Marina a kiss as she disappeared from the doorway. Marina quickly jumped out of bed to follow the naked woman with thoughts of the movie 9 and Weeks flashing through her mind.

Ill help you, she yelled with a smile.

A few months later

Tina lowered her pregnant body to a sitting position at the edge of the hot tub in order to dangle her feet next to Bette in its luxurious warmth. Bette reached up and patted Tinas thigh. One more month T then you can get in here with us, Bette said smiling up at her.

I cant wait I wish it were only one more day Bette, Marina, and Cecilia looked at Tina with sympathy. The past month had been hard on her and they were all aware of the everyday difficulties she was having with her pregnancy.

Itll be here before you know it, Cecilia said from her spot across the tub. Tina smiled and watched as Marina slipped into the hot tub and made her way over to sit between Cecilias legs.

Can you believe its been seven months since we met you? she asked watching the two love birds gently kiss before settling into a comfortable position. Cecilia looked at Bette and Tina and smiled at them.

It seems like a lot longer than that, Cecilia replied squeezing Marina softly. Since the incident with Francesca and her return, the four of them had developed a strong bond. They made it a point to spend time together as couples at least once a week by either going to a movie, dinner, or just hanging out at one of their homes. This was not one of those times. The group was waiting for the rest of the gang to have their bi-weekly cook out/pool party.

How are things at the museum? Bette asked as she sipped on an iced tea.

Great! Were adding another ancient pottery collection in two months and I finally have an office of my very own with windows even! Cecilia answered with a grin. When Cecilia had decided to look for permanent employment in the area, Bette called a few of her acquaintances and managed to get Cecilia an interview at the Natural History Museum. Although they werent officially hiring, the curators couldnt pass up the chance to acquire the archeological expert as a staff member.
