Chapter 10 – The Invitation
Business at the store had been really busy the last few weeks and sales
were really up. Tina even hired someone to manage the online sales.
They could barely keep up with the orders for all the food products.
Tina’s research and instincts had been correct. She had ideas about
increasing the Internet sales but she really needed more operational
funds to expand.
But she hated being away from Jessie when crunch time hit at the store.
Jessie was a trooper and played in the back of the store and stayed
with Drew and Melinda but Tina knew it was not the best situation
always.
Shane could not believe that Alice and Dana had talked her into doing
this but she personally missed Tina a great deal and watching Bette be
alone was getting painful.
The hair business for Shane had been good and she continued to enjoy
celebrity clients. Her studio had become popular which Shane was not so
sure she liked but it allowed her have some financial security and she
didn’t even need to cut hair everyday – she had actually taken up
surfing. Alice’s plan was actually simple but it depended on Shane’s
ability to persuade and hopefully Tina would not be able to resist her.
Shane picked up the phone and dialed.
Tina: “Hello”
Shane: “I found out recently that I might be an Auntie and I feel very cheated about not seeing this little angel”
Tina knew this voice immediately and had kind of expected a few phone
calls from the old gang knowing that they all knew by now about her
daughter Jessie.
Tina: “You most certainly are an Auntie Shane, oh my gosh it’s so good to hear your voice”
Shane: “It’s been too long old friend”
Tina: “Yes, it has I’m sorry you are like family Shane and I really want my daughter to know you”
Shane: “Tina’s she so cute I love these pictures”
Tina: “And what’s up with you? Haven’t settled down yet?”
Shane: “Hell no but that’s something we can discuss in person”
Tina: “In person?”
Shane: “I am going to be babysitting the most amazing house the month
of December and January for director friend of mine and client. It’s in
Malibu where I surf a lot and want you and Jessie to come out for
Christmas”

Glad to see another chapter from you Ms. Chaka. Looks like we all agree Izzy’s bad news. Please don’t let her fuck things up for the girls (at least nothing major) at this delicate point in their renewed relationship.

It is always such a joy to see that you have posted. Now, I have one favor to ask. Seems as though all the FF writers have to throw a wet blanket on Tina’s security with someone out of Bette’s past. Their reunions never seem to go smoothly. Please don’t fall into that trap. For once it would be nice to enjoy a reconnection without the anguish of someone comming between them. Thank you for posting.
Glad for the update and please let Shane and Alice tell her that Izzy is in the past and Bette is not seeing her now. Izzy wishes. Please let them have a special, loving and wonderful reconnection for Christmas. THEY NEED EACH OTHER AND LOVE EACH OTHER TO PIECES. PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Don’t let Izzy wreck their time coming together. They need this so badly. Will you please be the one to write a story that lets them be reconnected without problems. PLEASE. Thanks for the post.

I smiled all the way through this until they ran into Izzy, the Diva at the airport. Best line: Izzy: “…what is it – called the earth” (ROFLOL). Please don’t let her ruin the reunion!

Another great chapter….but Tina has NO rights to be angry with Bette. They haven’t been a couple for many years, did she expect Bette to live in celibacy all this time?????? But the fact that Izzy is getting to Tinas nerves is answering all of Tinas questions, she still loves Bette!!!! :o)))….So continue this story already and please make the posts longer.
