Bette scoffed as Tina walked off, but then remembered what she had said. All of the realizations were right before her, and Bette for once really let herself feel how much more bonded she was with Tina. It was a feeling unmatched by anyone else in her entire past. The glimpse into what her life had brought her the realization she had repeated: This is my life. It’s the life I always wanted … it’s what I need. I was so stupid all those years ago … I should never have left at all … my life meant nothing without her.
Suddenly her eyes were wide. Although it had been evident from the start, she hadn’t placed her feelings so properly in all the time she had spent with Tina and Angelica. But now, something was bothering her – she was worried about something.
As she walked down the hall and into the kitchen, Angelica came running in with a big smile. Once Bette took a seat, she climbed into her mother’s lap. She sleepily rubbed her face on Bette’s shirt and cuddled in with her. Tina smiled at the sight, yawning. “Uh, I hope Alice could sleep in today. She called yesterday and told me how late she would be out with Dana. I’m sure she needs the rest.”
The mention of Alice’s name stopped Bette in her tracks. She suddenly remembered what Alice had said to her, and why she felt bothered – that once she figured something out, it’ll all be over. The words replayed in Bette’s mind, and she was only pulled back to the current moment once Angelica kissed her on the cheek.
“Morning Mommy.”
Tina chuckled at the strange look on Bette’s face. “You okay baby?”
Bette shook her head, suddenly incredibly concerned. Her heart was racing with confusion and frustration. She didn’t want anything to change, and she didn’t want this glimpse to be over. She couldn’t lose Tina – not now. “I uh …” she decided to herself that she would see Alice, but she didn’t want to alarm Tina or Angelica with her concern. “I’m just a little tired myself, I guess.” She put on a fake smile and looked into her coffee and then to the little girl in her lap. She wanted to cry.

OMG… i’ve read all of the other comments too… maybe after she tells tina every thing will turn out right… but any thing that involved alice is not that easy… ok waiting to see where you take us… and i also agre with the others… we all trust you with our TIBETTE heart…HAPPY NEW YEAR… pps

It’ll be interesting to see T’s reaction (since that wasn’t in the movie). I like how you have BP, totally get it…and now willing to take action. You go girl! I laughed a lot in the previous chapter, but at the end of this chapter, brought me to tears. Excellent update. Anxiously awaiting the next. Happy New Year.

Oh, poor Bette! That was powerful stuff. Please let her keep her life!!! So this will be an interesting conversation – I don’t think just sitting down is going to be enough to help Tina accept what Bette is about to tell her! Thank you … but only two more chapters???
Yeah, this is big. Both are about to find out this is all a dream, or maybe that it this is real and the other part of Bette’s life is the dream.

Sorry, nothing reminds me of another story.But I haven’t read so many stories and every time I get so involved in this story, that cannot think-just enjoy it. The love scenes are exactly what you said: “both tender and incredibly hot”. Since you like so much number 12, you might consider as well 66, or 84, or 93, or even 120!
I loved the golden Girls quote. Gotta love Rose for those great lines. You had me in tears and scared that they won’t be able to fix it. But then I remind myself that it’s biissexi everything will turn out just fine. Thanks bi:)
The plot she thickens…
Thanks for the update and the ‘cliffhanger’ forewarning, but my heart cannot help at exploding… wanting to find out what happens next. Don’t keep me in here for too long. lodeerca is right, if you like the number 12, you should really ponder over the number 120. Ha.
Poor Tina must be so worried at this point. She probably thinks Bette has some kind of terminal illness or something. I can’t wait for your next update to see what happens when she explains this all to Tina.

OMG..Maybe this must be it?..If she confesses to Tina why she’s there? and Tina believe her? Then she’ll go back to where she was?..until Tina and her meet again? ..OH MAN .. Sorry for my over active mind?.. Sometimes i get carried away…
Hi Biissexi, I am just loving this gentle Christmas tale. Suddenly Bette is ready to tell the world and admit to herself that her life is only complete when Tina and Angelica are in it. The mental rush to Alice’s and following chat was a scream then slipped into despair. I do hope that Bette can find a way to stay with her family. All of the trappings of wealth and status are worth a damn when you don’t have anyone to share them with. Biissexi, you rock. I can’t wait to read how this all wraps up. What can I say – all authors love writing a cliffhanger – just not being left at one :D excellent writing, B! For once I’m hoping it doesnt turn out like the movie and Bette gets to stay. A girl can hope, right? Looking forward to whatever comes next!

UGH! Even though I knew it was going to be a cliffhanger, somehow I forgot along the way, and when it ended I might have yelled an expletive (LOL)! I’m really enjoying the story — love time travel, love the movie, love B & T, so what could be better than a combination of all of them? Great job. Thanks for your work…P.S.
