“Noted…now let’s go; we’re waitin’ on our show….” Alice impatiently says with a smile.
Tina chuckles and finally leaves the room.
Bette chuckles. “You people are out of control….”
Alice laughs. “It’s fun, and she needs help figuring out what to wear….”
Bette rolls her eyes. “She’s a grown woman, Alice….”
The gang sits back in amusement as Alice and Bette have their usual disagreement.
A few beats later, Tina enters wearing a 1940s-style one-piece with ruffles on the top and bottom. She twirls around with a smile. “Well, what do you think? I found this at a cute vintage store a few years back…. it’s cute, right?”
Everyone stays quiet for a beat.
“It’s…. something….” Shane says.
Everyone snickers.
Tina pouts. “What’s wrong with it? It’s vintage….”
“It’s ugly….” Alice says.
“It is not…” Tina says as she puts her hands on her hips.
Dana smiles and points to Tina. “The ruffles sway when you move your arms.
Tina narrows her eyes at the gang. “It’s a nice swimsuit…”
Alice lifts her brows. “Unless you’re planning on giving her a lap dance to a raunchy rendition of ‘Hello my Baby, hello my Honey,’ you can’t wear that, Tina….”
Tina once again pouts. “I really don’t like you guys….”
“You’ll thank us later; go take that shit off….” Alice says with a clap.
Shane smiles. “Next….” She says as she cups her hand over her mouth.
Tina looks at Bette, who’s looking down, trying to hold in her grin. “I see you over there, Porter…”
Bette looks up and smiles. “I haven’t said a word….”
“You guys are the worst,” Tina mumbles as she pouts, turns, and leaves the room.
A few minutes later, the gang is laughing and talking and doesn’t see Tina enter the room again.
Bette laughs and nonchalantly takes a sip of her beer and then nearly chokes when she looks up and sees Tina standing in the doorway wearing a skimpy yellow two-piece. She coughs a few times as the rest of the gang finally notices Tina.
“Whoa….” Lara says with a smile.
Bette slowly closes her eyes and intentionally looks away when Tina twirls, giving everyone the backside view of the swimsuit.
Tina holds her arms out. “Better?”
Alice smiles. “Much….”

“had a meeting after school”…yeah, right. I’d say Kit has the right intuition. Easy to blame other people (i.e. Tina) to distract from what you’re up to yourself, Michelle.

KIT has decades of observing bodily language and she knows something’s up with Michelle. She’ll stay out of until & unless she sees something that’s definitely amiss.
I think it’s the first time Bette realizes that it’s not the same feeling to see Tina in a swimsuit as to see Alice, for example.
On the other hand, it seems that Michelle has some added distraction at work
Those Sweet Lil Glances between Bette and Tina does my heart good! I keep thinking about Bette looking at Tina at the house swimming at the start of season 5, Tina was WEARING that swim suit BABY!!!! Looking DAMN Good and Bette was sho nuff looking!!!
Michelle and her cute lil phone texting has Kit’s radar on alert! She is slipping with all the distractions from Ava who is probably playing on her insecurities big time.
Loving the friendship between them so far. Bette didn’t know Tina dipped her toe back in the water and got back out there for a lil sumtin, sumtin!!! (hahahaha)
