Kaitlin was sitting on the computer when Jess walked in followed by Ashley. No-one said a word. Kaitlin smiled at them picked up her coat and left.

Slamming the door behind her, her mobile bleeped for a txt message it was from Heather. Kaitlin and Heather fought during school. Heather had found out about Jess’ situation and wanted to meet. As angry as Kaitlin was she knew it was a bad idea to go, but she done it anyway she needed to get her anger out somehow.

“What do you want?” Kaitlin asked walking towards Heather. She was standing with about 5 girls.

“Just a chat, I heard your dyke of a mother got hit off her drunk of a father. She ok?” Heather asked

“When did u start caring? Don’t call her a dyke” Kaitlin growled

“I don’t, just thought id try be nice” the girls laughed along with Heather “why shouldn’t I call her a dyke, it’s what she is! What are you going to do about it anyway?”

With that Heathers head swung to the left, Kaitlin punched her again making her fall to the ground. She started kicking Heather in the stomach and leaning down punching her in the face. The group of girls stood gob smacked for a minute before dragging Kaitlin off the screaming Heather lying on the floor. One of them punched Kaitlin in the face but got punched right back. Another girl kicked the back of Kaitlins knee making her lose her balance they all took turns kicking and punching her but Kaitlins legs and arms were still up for a fight and didn’t stop making contact with each of them.

The next thing Kaitlin knew she was picked up off the ground and thrown into the back of a car, her ribs were sore and her eye had swollen so much she couldn’t see out of it. There was blood running down her face, she could feel it. Her head hurt and her knuckles were sore. She couldn’t hear who was in the car with, she didn’t really care.

5 minutes later the car stopped, she was sore all over and felt tired, she just wanted to go to sleep. She got dragged out of the car and screamed with pain as she got swung over some ones shoulder. She knew where she was,… she was home and it was Malaci’s aftershave she could smell. Mama started screaming as Malaci placed Kaitlin on the couch. Her face had all swollen, she didn’t look like her.
