    An L-Word/OC crossover Marissa is searching for Alex and runs into Shane

    This is the last one Marissa thought wandering through the dark bar. Spending the entire night wandering into each restaurant, bar and club trying to find her ex girlfriend wasnt exactly how she had planned the evening. It was really hard to make a grand romantic gesture like in the movies when you couldnt even find the person it would be directed toward.

    Movies suck, Marissa mumbled.

    Of course it was not any of the movies she had seen fault that Alex wanted more than she could give at the time, thus resulting in her fleeing to West Hollywood. After sitting around for two weeks wallowing in her own self-pity nonstop, Marissa had an epiphany. To ***** with the rest of the world, she was not going to be left by one more person she cared about, or loved, or whatever the ***** she felt when she thought of her blonde girlfriend. All she knew was when she was with Alex life wasnt nearly as hard as it used to be. So she jumped in her car and thus began her quest.

    Unfortunately, Marissa had not planned properly and resulted in her slightly stalker like search. Of course she could always call her friends, but a three am wakeup call to find her girlfriend was probably not the best way to keep said friends.

    Collapsing on a bar stool, Marissa scanned the area for any sign of Alex. Disappointed that she could not find the blonde girl she ordered a shot of vodka. At least this way maybe she could forget.

    Its on me, a voice uttered from behind.

    Marissa spun around hoping to see Alex only to find a dark haired woman, Oh no I can get it, but thanks.

    The woman didnt seem to get the hint, Names Gabby, whats yours?

    Uh, Marissa, she muttered looking at the exit. Look Gabby, its nice to meet you and all, but I have to go.

    Smirking Gabby sat down next to her, You just got here. Stick around, maybe we can have some fun.

    Getting up Marissa shook her head, I have a girlfriend.

    I dont see her.

    Thats normally when you back away gracefully Gabs, a shaggy haired woman who had been watching the exchange from nearby smirked.

      to everyone wondering about alex/marissa:

      alex was a new character in the oc introduced to date seth cohen (one of the main characters) however, they broke up. later on, seth find’s out that alex’s ex is coming to town, and her ex is a girl. around this time, marissa starts to hang out with alex (who is the manager of a club at a very young age, 18? 19?) and since alex is rebellious and marissa is a snotty girl who is trying to “defy her parents” she skips school a lot and hangs out with alex. there is a lot of sexual tension and alex wants marissa, and they’ll probably kiss in next week’s episode. i assume that Lizzy1321 is going on the assumption that they get together eventually and date.

    10. Very interesting start. And Like Aceofhearts I need to be fill in on Alex/Marissa story. Didn’t whatch the OC, always forgot to tune in. I’m waiting for the next update.
