    April 1999

     

     

    Bette slowly released Tina from her pinned position on the elevator wall, unaware of how caught up she had become in the short elevator trip to the top floor.

    She checked the blonde’s eyes, hoping to find the same passion rather than the occasional apprehension she saw from time to time.  Had she been too rough?

    Fortunately, Bette’s eyes were met with a blazing inferno behind the hazel strands, the blondes eyes heavier now with passion than Bette had ever seen. 

    Suddenly, she heard the doors closing and moved swiftly to depress the open door button.  Both women released a smile as they realized how incompacitated they had become, drunk off the intoxicating passion pulling their bodies together.

    Bette reached for Tina’s hand, gently cupping it into her own palm.  She led her silently through the elevator doors, proceeding with determination through the long corridor to their room.  Their room…

    She could feel the electricity passing between their hands, yet the blonde’s steps grew weaker as they approached the suite.

    Bette turned around to find the blonde’s breathing labored, her facial features mounted in restrained passion.

    "Bette…." Tina began, her voice only a choked whisper.

    Bette looked down quickly, fearing the worst.  She knew this was an overwhelming moment for the blonde, but it was for her too.  She wanted Tina so much she couldn’t stand it….

      They had come so far so fast and to know that she could possibly face rejection this late in the game sent a shock of terror up her spine.  She swallowed hard, chastising herself for being so forceful with Tina in the elevator. 

    Tina sensed that Bette was spiraling into an inward dialogue that she was sure her temporary pause elicited.  She gently lifted the brunette’s delicate chin, beckoning the brown eyes to meet her own.

    Bette stared deep into Tina, searching the blonde, waiting for the other shoe to drop.

    "Feel this…" The blonde began, reaching for Bette’s hand and gently pressing it against her chest.

    Bette raised her eyebrows with surprise and joy as she felt the powerful rhythm Tina’s heart pounded out against her hand.

    "Is that for me?" Bette asked with genuine question. 

    Apparently, she had dropped her ego at the elevator door.  It’s presence no longer detected.  She completely belonged to Tina in this moment, and whatever the blonde asked for, she would be sure to deliver.  Her pride dissolved as she swam in the blonde’s eyes…her feelings raw and uninhibited.

    2. This is so wonderful and they both are scared to death for very different reasons. Tina is the one in charge of this night as she has always been in charge of their lives, Bette just thought she was in charge. It’s awfully warm in here. PPS

But as one good fan fic writer said, it’s the buildup that ropes in readers, not the actual deed. It’s the ride that matters, not the destination. You’ve teased us to the brink of submission and whatever happens from hereon, thank you, firestarter, for keeping us entertained and whetting our anticipation. :>

    15. Lovin’ it!!!Umm… I’m kinda wondering about the luggage? Will there be another interruption by the bellhop? Just thinkin’ the suite was dark… so their luggage/packages hadn’t made up from the lobby yet :)

OMG a room, on the bed, tina half naked… of course i think someone mention the luggage and bellhop,lol…heck i was thinking the bed would break, or the accidently signed out the room to another guest that happens to walk in,lol.. or maybe one of them would fall asleep or tina’s stomach would damn to be feed,lol…such a tease and u have dragged this out for all eternity,lol. :)PPS
