Dr. Wilson gets ready to examine Tina as another intense contraction begins. Tina grabs onto Bettes hand again. Tears flow down Bettes cheeks as she watches the love of her life in so much pain. As the contraction ends, Dr. Wilson examines Tina.

Dr. Wilson: Okay Tina, you are fully dilated. When your contractions start up again Tina I want you to push with all your strength.

Bette: I am so proud of you, T. You are doing so good, Baby.

Tina: I am so glad you are here Bette. I couldnt have done this without you.

Bette reached over and kissed Tina on the forehead as another contraction began. Tina now understood what Dr. Wilson had meant, when she said she would have the urge to push.

Dr. Wilson: Okay, Tina. Just go with the contraction. Take a deep breath and push. Thats it, bear down and push. Tina is squeezing the ***** out of Bettes hand and with her other killing that poor teddy bear.

Bette talked Tina through the contraction as Dr. Wilson watched in wonder. Bette was beaming with pride.

Tina: Baby, I cant do this anymore. Im so tired. I just want to rest. Please make them stop. Please make them go away.

Bette looks over at Dr. Wilson with tears forming in her eyes.

Dr. Wilson: Tina, you are doing great. You are so close. Youve just got a little further and your little girl will be here with you. You can do this, Tina. Just a couple more big pushes.

Bette: Baby, did you hear that? Listen to Dr. Wilson. We are almost there, T. I am so proud of you, Baby. You have been so strong through all of this. I love you so much, Baby. Our daughter is almost here. Im right here with you, Baby. Come on and push, T.

Tina bears down and pushes with all the strength left in her.

Dr. Wilson: That was very good, Tina. You did so good, the baby is crowning. Now I need you to stop pushing for just a little bit, we need to bring the babys head out slowly. Okay?

Tina: You have got to be kidding me. I cant stop now, God I need to push.

Dr. Wilson: Just take a deep breath and blow it out Tina, no pushing. Breathe and blow out.

Tina: God, I cant do this. I need to push.

Bette: Shhh, T. Youre doing great. Breathe with me, Baby. Take a deep breath and blow it out. Thats the way. Come on Baby, keep breathing with me. Focus on the teddy bear. You are doing so good, Baby. I love you so much. Thats it, blow it out.

Tina: You breathe dammit, its not helping me!!!!!!

Bette: Come on Baby. Shes almost here. Shes almost here Tina. You can do this. I know it hurts baby. I wish I could make it go away. Its almost over Tina.

Dr. Wilson: Okay Tina, your little girl is doing fine. Now we just need a one more big push and your little girl will be here.

Bette: Do you hear that, T. She is almost here, Baby. You are doing so good. Just a one more push and our family will be together. You can do this, T. I cant believe how strong you are. You are so amazing, T. I love you so much. You can do this, Baby. We are almost there.

Tina bears down and gives one last push.

Dr. Wilson: Well, now. Here we are. Such a beautiful baby girl.

Bette looks down at their beautiful little girl as tears flow down her cheeks. She cannot believe the enormous amount of love that she feels for this tiny, little being.

Bette: Oh my God, T. She is so beautiful. God, T, you did it. She is here, Baby. She is really here.

Bette is so excited. She is overflowing with joy. Dr. Wilson cleans the baby up a little as she lets out a cry. She checks her all over and smiles. Tina hears the cry.

Tina: Oh my God, is that her? Is she okay?

Dr. Wilson: She is just fine, Tina. You have a perfect little girl. Bette, would you like to cut the cord?

Bette is smiling from ear to ear. She cant believe how happy she is. She reaches down and cuts the cord. Dr. Wilson then wraps up the crying baby and hands her over to Bette.

Dr. Wilson: Here you go mommy.

Bette: Hey, there my precious little one. We are so glad you decided to join us. We love you so much. There is someone else that is anxious to meet you.

Their little girl stops crying as Bette holds her close and talks to her so soothingly. Tears are flowing down Tinas cheeks too.

Tina: Oh my God, Bette. She is so beautiful. I cant believe how beautiful she is and she is so tiny. I am so happy, Baby. We finally have our family.

Bette: We sure do, Baby, we sure do. I love you so much, T.

Bette is about to hand their precious little girl to Tina another forceful contraction hit. Dr. Wilson Bette yelled behind her.

Dr. Wilson started to explain that Tina would continue to have contraction after birth but not as painful. As she looked down between Tinas legs to delivery the placenta she gasped.

Dr. Wilson: Oh my!

Bette: What does oh my mean?

Dr. Wilson: Tina, Bette. It seems we have a little problem. Its seems I made a mistake.

Bette snaps her head around at Dr. Wilson. What do you mean you made a mistake?

Dr. Wilson: Apparently our work here is not down. I believe there is one more little person waiting to join us.

Tina had another forceful contraction hit. Oh god Bette. Tina screamed as she squeezed Bette’s right hand hard.

Dr Wilson: OK Tina just a couple more pushes and the rest of your family will be together. You can do this.

Dr Wilson delivered a beautiful baby boy. Bette would you like to cut the cord again? Bette? Bette? Dr. Wilson ask again.

Bette was deaf, dumb and blind at this point.

Tina: Bette baby did you hear Dr. Wilson? Bette..

Bette: TWINS!

Tina reached up and smacked Bette on the arm. BETTE! Tina said as she cried and giggled at her severally stunned wife.

Bette stepped forward and cut the cord. The nurse took the baby, cleaned him up and returned him to Dr. Wilson.

Dr. Wilson: Now were done. Bette and Tina would you like to meet your son? Hes a little bit smaller than his sister, but hes healthy.

Bette handed their precious little girl to Tina now. Then walked over and bent down looking between Tinas legs.

Dr. Wilson, Tina and the nurses are all staring at Bette.

Tina: Honey are you ok? Bette, baby what are you doing down there?

Bette: I’m making damn sure there arent anymore down there.
