One by one everyone got up and introduced themselves. He had gotten what he wanted, a family. Albeit a family full of lesbians, but a family none the less. They sat around for hours talking and sharing stories and laughing at one another. After learning everyone’s background and what makes them a special part of their family, they had to call it quits.

“Well, I have to go, I have an early morning practice and Lara’s got a catering,” Dana said getting up.

“Well it was nice meeting you Dana; I look forward to your upcoming matches.”

They all said their goodbyes and left. Alexander offered to clean up and practically kicked Bette and Tina out of the kitchen. They went to their room and got ready for bed. Bette was high on cloud nine getting ready for bed; the hole in her heart was filled. She had always felt he was out there, but she thought it wasn’t possible. But alas her family was almost nearly complete. As they got into bed Bette straddled Tina’s legs and lifted Tina’s shirt just above her stomach and kissed it.

“Baby, I know you’re in there. I want you to know how much your mommy and I love you. And that we’re going to be here waiting for you. You also have a big brother to meet; we’re all excited to see you in nine months. I love you.”

She kissed Tina’s stomach again and Tina smiled. Bette led a trail of kissed up Tina’s stomach and chest; she kissed the nape of her neck and then kissed her lips. Tina drew her into a more passionate kiss as Bette held her close. Tina broke the kiss and rested her head on Bette’s shoulder her face finding a peaceful place at the nape of Bette’s neck. Tina’s warm breath making Bette shudder as she held her close, as if Tina might float away.

“Goodnight baby,” Tina said, releasing a contented sigh.

“Night Tee.”

The rest of the week had gone by faster than Bette had wanted. She spent that Thursday with Alexander, trying to get his show ready. Bette decided that his show was going to be featured alongside Provocations. His showing was going to be small by comparison, but what better way to get his name out there then putting his work with the likes of Isabella Pernao and Ray Fields? As they wrapped their meeting, they agreed to keep their relationship anonymous until after the showing. Alexander went back to the house to pack, he was flying back to Chicago to pack and ship the rest of his things to Los Angeles. To keep her mind occupied Bette took Tina baby shopping. They had no doubt in their mind that this insemination would stick. They bought everything from strollers, to a crib and even a few baby clothes. They also met with a housing contractor to get started on their master suite. They wanted their privacy as much as Alexander wanted his; he was going to stay a while, so they managed to coax their contractor to speed up the remodel. They shelled out extra cash to employ extra workers have it done within the month. Tina had decided to take a few meetings that weekend, so Bette took the opportunity to prepare for the Fae Buckley debate that would happen in two short days. She went over her notes and practiced her speech; their lawyer even came over to prepare her as well. She handed over the tape that Max brought her and he took it to analyze and figure out how to work it to their advantage. After a couple hours, she decided to unwind so she headed to The Planet for a nightcap.
