    Bette gets upset

    Bette had to smile at the care Tina showed in her, she took a deep breath before finally looking into Tina’s worried eyes “I’m fine, I just need some time to myself, I’ll call you later” she said.

    “Ok” Tina said, nodding slowly “Come here” she smiled bringing the brunette in for a tight hug “Drive carefully”

    “I promise” Bette smiled before she turned and started walking towards the stairs.

    Tina watched her leave before walking back inside Alice’s apartment and closing the door. She walked into the kitchen where Shane was sitting quietly by the counter as Alice was flipping pancakes.

    “Alice what happened?” Tina asked as she took a seat next to Shane.

    “Honestly I don’t know” Alice said shrugging her shoulders “I just told her to be careful with you”

    “You did what?” Tina asked surprised.

    “Look TK I just don’t want to see you get hurt”

    “Why can’t you just mind your own damn business Al?” Tina sighed.

    “You don’t know Bette ok”

    “And you think you do?”

    “I’ve known her longer than you” Alice said “I’m just worried for you” she sighed.

    “Al I appreciate you worrying about me but I just don’t see why you’re making this thing with Bette such a big deal”

    “Look TK…in the time I’ve known Bette she’s been really careless with girls, she sleeps with them and then just dumps them only to go after her next victim”

    “Victim?” Tina asked raising an eyebrow at her friend “Don’t you think you’re exaggerating a bit?”

    “I’m just looking out for you” Alice said with a sigh.

    Tina let out a deep sigh and rested her head in her hands.

     

     

    Tina rang the doorbell to Bette’s house. It was eight pm and Bette still hadn’t called her so Tina decided to go over to her house and make sure she was ok. She had thought about calling her first to ask if it was ok if she came by but she didn’t want to risk the brunette saying no so she decided to just stop by and hope for the best.

    Bette opened the door and looked surprised to find Tina there “Hey Tina, what are you doing here?” she smiled.

    “Well you didn’t call and I was worried so…” Tina said giving Bette a small smile.

    2. Heh, if Alice only knew how Tina felt in the first place… she could have saved her little speech to Bette. Either way though, it’s not really any of Alice’s business. Tina probably needs to find her own place as soon as she can, regardless of whether she ever pursues anything more with Bette. Thanks for the post! :)

    7. I just caught up on this story and I have to say I’m in love with it ! This chapter was really effing hot and I hope that keeping things a secret doesn’t mess anything up. I have a feeling that the longer they keep it hidden, the more problems are gonna cause. I can’t wait to read more !

    8. Great update. First, Tina needs to get her own place pronto. Second, Alice needs to shut her damned mouth and thirdly, she also needs to keep her nose out of other people’s business. They are grown and can make up their own minds about what they are doing and they don’t need to announce it to the world. Tina and Bette need to get to a place where they will admit their attraction to each other. Thanks.
