    Tina reacts to Bette’s confession of love

    Tina froze at the brunette’s words. She wondered if Bette just said this because of the drunken and emotional state she was in or if she actually meant it. She stayed quiet for a few minutes, just thinking and trying to figure out how to response.

    Tina felt strongly for the brunette, in the short time that they had known each other they had gotten very close and Tina did see Bette as one of her best friends. Bette was the first one she called when she got excited, happy or upset about something. The brunette was always there for her and she felt like she could tell Bette anything. Every time Bette walked into a room Tina couldn’t help but smile, she got a warm feeling in her body just by seeing the brunette and somehow Bette always managed to put a smile on Tina’s lips no matter how down she felt. And the sex…oh my god that was the best sex she had ever had. Tina couldn’t help but smile as she thought of the many nights spent in bed with the beautiful brunette.

    Even thou Tina was sleeping with Bette she did think of herself as straight and she’d never even thought of being with a woman in more than a sexual way. She couldn’t picture herself in a relationship with a woman. She wanted a normal and non-complicated life with a man, a house and kids or at least that’s what she thought she wanted…until now. Hearing Bette confess her love and need for her was unexpected and Tina didn’t know what to do, she was so confused.

    She looked down at Bette and realized that the brunette had fallen asleep in her arms. She let out a deep sigh and looked up at the ceiling trying to get a grip around her thoughts. She needed to talk to Bette in the morning and figure this all out, she just hoped that this wouldn’t affect their friendship but deep down she knew that the minute those words left the brunette’s lips their relationship changed forever.

     

     

    Bette awoke as Tina carefully moved out from under her and sat up on the edge of the bed. She realized that she must have fallen asleep in Tina’s arms and she smiled at the thought. Her smile quickly faded as last night came rushing back to her and she slowly sat herself up as she kept her eyes on Tina who had her back turned to her.
