“Oh I think we can handle that.” Tina says as she reaches
for Anna and scoops her up. “Irene
thanks for your help and we’ll see you later.”
“Sure Tina.” Irene says and then clears her throat. Looking at Shane who encourages her on “Ah,
Tina Bette I was wondering if you two have given any thought to who will be
watching Anna after my term is through?”
Tina and Bette just look at each other before Tina answers,
“Actually Irene we haven’t had a chance to think about that yet. I was waiting until after Anna’s birthday
before I contacted Ms. Jentry to begin the review process. Why?”
“Well I was thinking of staying on if I could and well I
would like to talk with you two sometime about it. Would that be OK?” Irene says as her
nervousness is coming through.
“Wow really?” Tina says surprised that Irene would want to
stay. “Why don’t we talk about this
tomorrow sometime. I’m sure Bette and I
will be available almost anytime. Babe
do you have any plans for tomorrow?” Tina asks looking at Bette.
“Nope none, other than being here and running errands, Irene
do you know the process that you would have to go through?” Bette asks as she
isn’t familiar with the process but knows that it will probably involve Irene
getting a new H1 visa.
“Not really I was thinking that I should see if you guys
even want me before I go through finding out.” Irene shared her thoughts with
Bette.
“Well go out and have fun and we’ll talk tomorrow.” Tina
says beginning to entertain the thought of having Irene here after her year is
complete would be good. As she looks at
Anna, Tina starts laughing. “Shane you
said you were playing in the sandbox but it looks like Anna brought the whole
thing home with her. She’s got sand
everywhere, look she even has a little mustache of sand.”
“No she does not.” Shane says indignantly.
The offended look Shane wore made everyone laugh even Anna.
Chapter 103 – Lessons from Kit
Once Shane and Irene left and the initial excitement of
seeing her Mommies wore off, Anna let everyone know she was a tired, irritable
and bad tempered little girl. Nothing
around made her happy as her irritability took the form of screaming at everything
in sight. Gone was the adorable little
sweetheart that everyone loved and in her place was a creature that could best
be described as full of spit and vinegar.

This story is amazing!!! I hope helena gets it real good,although i do like her character both in fanfic and the show..lol I like the Shane/the babysitter(forgot her name as I am writing this), please give them more chapters!!!

It’s amazing the lung capacity of a small child. Not to mention the way they can turn on and off their adorable factor at the drop of a hat. Nicely portrayed.
Nice to see how Bette and Tina’s communication skills are ‘maturing’. They seem to now realize that they are safe when talking to each other. Listening goes both ways as does support. I hope this continues as things get more complicated.
I you know, if I didn’t know any better I would almost expect Helena’s head to spin around and pea soup to come spewing out of her at any moment. She is a wicked woman, but people like that are usually think they are so above it all that they make those critical mistakes that will come back to bite her in the butt. I hope it takes a HUGE chunk out of her fanny.
I really enjoy the balance in your stories. It’s good to see Bette and Tina talk things out but it keeps moving and you leave us wondering too – great job :)
I love how this Bette and Tina talk. Why oh why can’t it be like this on the show.
Jwet: I am enjoying how Bette and Tina are able to reach forward and to understand how compromise and communication is such a necessiity to a healthy and lasting relationship. I also am enjoying Shane and her little endeavor. I am wondering as to how you are going to deal with Helena??? I am with all the others ans we will be waiting for the next chapter.

Hey mate, another fantastic chapter that is showing how our two love birds are communicating on more than one level. I just love the way Tina keeps on finding all the faceted layers on one Super Smooth Porter, Bette seems to continue to amaze Tina with all her supernesses. Loved it!
