Gods Gift- Pt 10
Chapter 10
***Angelica***
People say that high school should be the best years in your life. I think that is up for debate. Firstly if you are a freshman you will be the butt of all the older kids jokes and pranks. Its not totally the worst thing, but if you have to go through that on your own then it can be pure torment. I lost my best friend the first day of junior high and now its been a little over a year and I am yet to allow myself to get close to anyone here. Now dont get me wrong, being the best on the soccer team, well its what the coach and everyone say, you can be the popular kid. Although its not a label I like it has become my own. I am the youngest in my class and one of the more intelligent students, thanks to my moms. I was voted most valuable player two seasons running for soccer, I am president of the computer club, math club and chess club. I am always surrounded by people who craved popularity if only by association, but for obvious reasons I am always lonely. I would love to find that connection again with someone but I am so scared. I dont think I can survive losing someone close to me again.
I am in my history class trying very hard to concentrate. Its one of my hated classes. Mom cant understand how I can hate history so much yet still get As in the class. Just one minute till the end of class. As the bell rang I jumped from my seat, I was racing to the door when my teacher called me back.
Angelica, I would like a favour of you.
Sure, Miss Mc Intosh.
The new student
Rene?
Yes. I would like for you to help her out with her history.
But Miss Mc Intosh?
Shes falling back Angelica, and I would tutor her myself but I have a remedial class and I cant right now. Can you please help me out and her?
How could I say no to that? *Sigh* Ok, when would you like me to start?

Good to see angie, opening up a bit. I know how hard it is to loose a friend early in life. But what was that comment “you haven’t looked into her eye”. HMMMMMMMMMMMMM
