“It’s not a date.” Bette finally found her voice. “Joanna was kind enough to invite me out dancing. It’s been awhile and we thought that being out together would be enough to ensure that we would not be hit on by other women.” She looked pointedly at Tina.
“I wouldn’t have let anyone else cut in.” Joanna asserted meeting Tina’s gaze. Blue eyes challenged Hazel. “I gave the woman my word I would protect her, these women’s clubs are quite predatory” she whispered conspiratorially.
“Thank you for yielding.” Tina replied innocently. Hearing the opening strains of ‘Ain’t Nobody’ she boldly claimed a last dance. “I’ll keep her safe for this last dance before I’m on my way.” Tina grabbed Bette’s hand and led her to the dance floor. “Listen carefully, babe, this one is for you.” She whispered into Bette’s ear. Again she felt the shudder that passed though the brunette’s body. Tina pressed herself against Bette and pressed her suit. Echoing the words of the song ‘it’s been so long,’ I need you so much. Come to me tonight; come to my house when you are done here. ‘Ain’t nobody loves me better than you, makes me happy, makes me feel this way’ Tina sang into her ear.
“You are not playing fair, Tina.” Bette choked out.
“All’s fair in love, Bette. Come to me.” Tina turned and walked away leaving Bette on the dance floor.
Joanna carefully watched the scene and knew that she had lost. She stepped up anyway and took Tina’s place as the next song began. She took Bette’s hand and led her back to their table. “I think it’s time to call it a night. I had a great time. I’d love to do it again sometime, let’s pick another club though; I’ll wear my combat boots and leather.”
Bette laughed. “Sorry about the interruption. I had a nice time too. You are a great dance partner and I enjoyed being out.”
Again they accompanied one another to the parking lot. “See you on Campus, Porter.”
Bette watched as Joanna drove away. The ache between her legs refused to subside.

Oh lordy be, Tina is a a smooth lady. She is not going to let Bette get away from her again. I am enjoying Tina having to work hard to earn Bette back.

I sooooo want B & T to get back together but i want Tina to work for it. I hope Joanna doesnt give up too soon b/c i like Tina getting jealous and knowing she has to work to get Bette back.
