"I told them I wanted a job in journalism and they liked it even more. I guess my story is front page worthy and they think my own column will really improve their sales. People will want to read what I have to say because they’ll all feel sympathy for me and be curious about my life."

"So they’re basically gonna have a bidding war over you?" Tasha said.

"Yes and I’m gonna take the best offer," Alice said.

"Oh Alice, this is what you’ve always wanted," Tasha said taking Alice’s hand. "Imagine what you could do. You can bring back you’re lesbian-life, sex-tips, and gossip articles from before. You can bring back the Chart. Heck make a New York Chart!"

"And I can talk about life in prison," Alice said, "how it changes a person like me who used to be so carefree and happy and loving."

"I think you still are those things Al," Tasha said kissing one of Alice’s hands gently. "I just think that you’ve learned to build up a wall around in prison and you haven’t quite figured out how to bring that wall back down."

"And you’re willing to wait for me to figure it out?" Alice asked.

"I would wait my entire life," Tasha said. "I love you with all my heart."

West Hollywood

Kit opened the door of Bette and Tina’s house and sighed when she saw Jenny holding her purse. Jenny tilted her head in a questioning look and Kit nodded telling Jenny she had done what was asked of her.

Jenny walked into Bette and Tina’s remodeled home and walked straight into the media room where the large flat screen TV was hanging on the wall and Jenny could see the rest of the gang sitting outside having drinks.

"Oh wow this is so beautiful," Jenny said, "This is very fancy. I’m sorry, I need to close the door."

"Okay," Kit said softly.

"Don’t wanna ruin the surprise," Jenny said taking out the goodbye video she had prepared, "Look the video. Where’s the uh button that closes the window, is that the one?" Jenny picked up the remote and clicked it. A small garage door looking thing whizzed down and covered the window to the outside.
