“So that explains your level of contempt for me.”
“Never contempt. Just…it reminded me of Bette.” Tina avoided looking at Helena for a second, but when she did, the grin she saw caused her to burst into laughter. “Oh no, that’s awful…I shouldn’t have said that.” But they were both laughing too hard to stop.
“Bette’s not around. You can be candid. Besides, you’re insulting me as well, so it’s all good.”
“No, I’m not trying to be insulting…never insulting…”
At first when Tina kissed Helena it was a kind of apology. She tried to pour as much kindness into her as she could, reaching up with both hands to caress her face and neck. Helena’s hands spanned her waist, pulling her nearer.
When they pulled away and looked at one another, Helena made the decision for them, to continue. She lifted her legs onto Tina’s thighs, giving the other woman a more dominant position and making herself more comfortable. She nearly straddled her when they began to kiss again. After many long minutes, when their hands began to find ways beneath tshirts and down the backs of their jeans, it was Tina who made the first move to remove her clothing.
“Take this off…” She murmured against Helena’s neck. “I want…I want you…is that ok?”
Helena nodded, kissing the top of her head sweetly, moving her lips down to brush across her forehead, then cheekbones, before finding Tina’s mouth again. She lifted her arms so that Tina could lift her shirt easily off. And she wasn’t wearing a bra, so the second her skin was exposed, a look of wonder washed across Tina’s face, and her mouth found new forms of entertainment.
Tina ran her hands roughly along Helena’s breasts, taking her nipples alternately into her mouth.
Helena gasped, seeing stars as the fervent attention continued. Her pelvis crashed against Tina’s and she hurridly moved her hands down to remove her jeans.
When she reached for Tina’s clothes, the other woman shook her head, removing her mouth from Helena’s breasts and giving her a wicked grin.
“I like you like this.” She said lustfully, before laying Helena down. “Relax…let me…” she murmured. Tina gazed in awe at the naked beauty before her. Helena’s left leg slung over the back of the couch, leaving her open and vulnerable to her lover’s caresses. For the first time in over a year, Tina tasted and felt the experience of being with a woman. She held her own hair back as she reached forward, tentatively kissing the insides of Helena’s thighs. When Helena reached down to help her, tangling her fingers in long blonde hair, Tina immersed herself fully, all tentativeness gone. “Mmmmph..” She moaned against Helena’s flesh.

Uh, why do they have to tell Bette and why was Tina laughing about Bette and Helena flirting? Perhaps this would be a good time for everybody to get together, confess, and have an orgy? Bette, Jody, Helena, Tina and maybe Debbie Harry’s free now for 5-way?

see, jp, i hated them also…i seem to be in a habit of writing couples i once hated in order to write…something…i don’t know what…but anyway, it’s all about writing tina in a good light, cuz sofa loves her…lol
Hel, I found this is be a chapter I did not expect and actually liked it very much. Tina and Helena having sex and talk about the breakup and being fired. And then having to tell Bette about them, classic!!!!
Well I didn’t expect the smuteth to involve Helena and Tina, but I can absolutely see them getting it on given the circumstances. Fingers crossed that the novelty of Jodi wears off, leaving Bette free to consider greener pastures. I’m afraid all this whispering-in-a-coffee-shop business is starting to remind me of Whispering Jenny in one of your stories. I do hope it’s not an insidious case of author/subject identification!

Loved this chapter and the way that Tina and Helena finally discussed their abrupt breakup. I always liked the two of them which I know puts me in the minority.

That was so good. Really believable and right in the context and really annoying too cuz I was writing something similar and now I’ll have to rethink it *g*
I thought this was another great chapter and I do think Tilena works here, if only, to reinforce Tina’s deep attraction for women. Even though I prefer TiBette, Helena and Tina had some pretty strong chemistry…particularly pool scene. You captured that chemistry here. HOT.Thanks.
