    Where is Jessie? Tina asked concerned for the girl.

    Tina just looked at her, she just didnt know what to respond

    well technically we werent really together so..

    Thats bullshit we were very much together, and you were right she was my ***** buddy, but I didnt, we didnt, not since you and I… she trailed off she was tired and she just wanted go to bed

    with exasperation Bette try to move herself up from the bar, only to stumble ***** she said as the pain run trough her at the time she rested her full weight on her left knee

    Tina run to help her, NO Bette said I dont want you to help me, I dont want you here, you better off without me, just I… I didnt cheat, I can cheat on everybody else, I can cheat on me, but never on you

    Bette Please she pleaded

    Please what Tina?

    Please let me be with you

    I cant, I want to but I cant Bette said sadness evident in her voice.

    Please just let me stay with you tonight Tina pleaded standing in front of Bette

    Bettes eyes were glazed, obviously intoxicated, obviously had been crying, there it was that expression in her face again, Baby please, dont be so sad Tina said, to the point of tears herself it really take her away how broken Bette looked

    Bette just looked at her, as if lost I Love you Tina, am so in love with you

    Tinas tears spilled and she pulled Bette to her arms and no more words were spoken, she helped Bette to her room, put her into bed, went to the bathroom cabinet looking for something to ease her future hangover, with all that done she let herself in the bed, she wanted to hold Bette from behind, but didnt dare to do so, she just stood there unable to sleep, a bit lulled by Bettes gentle snore, wondering what was head for them, but knowing one thing, there would be no walking away this time.

    4. The children have the proper perspective without the B.S., don’t they? Bette’s pain seems very real and understandable. I’m looking forward to reading how you will resolve their inner conflicts.
      And in each of your chapters you have a line or phrase that perfectly portrays an emotion: ” I can cheat on everybody else, I can cheat on me, but never on you”. Heartfelt words…

    5. great chapter. the kids know and are ok with everything, but why does it always take parents and grown-ups so freaking long to do things!?! everything gotta be all talk and plan and pros and cons, geez, bette get with tina for goodness sakes and don’t worry about candace she wants you to be happy. let’s go already! thanks for writing! :)

    7. Another great chapter. Bette has so much guilt to work through. She just need to let Tina help her through it all and move forward with their life together.
