Part 2
Bette pulled into their driveway, she just had dinner with some of the cast members of the lesbian TV show that she was currently doing and all decided to go to a small bar afterwards. It’s already past 9 in the evening so she knew that her husband was already at home probably in his office doing his usual thing. She killed the car engine off and tilted her head back against the headrest and closed her eyes. She was having a little headache not because of drinking for she only had a couple of martini. Bette was having a headache because of a woman…Tina Kennard. Even if she didn’t want to think about it she couldn’t help it, the news about Tina’s pregnancy won’t leave her mind.
She knew that she should be happy for the blonde, life’s a precious gift from above and that should be the right reaction, but who was she kidding? Every inch of her being was screaming NO and she knew that what she felt was wrong, just plain wrong. She slammed her hands on the steering wheel and cursed
“FUCK!!!”
‘What am I going to do?’ she silently asked herself.
The feelings that she had for the blonde was something beyond physical attraction, she didn’t want it but it’s there and the question was how can she get rid of it? She remained seated inside her car; she didn’t want to go inside her home and face reality yet, she needed to be alone even for a few minutes. Suddenly the incidence after Evelyn, the writer of the show announced the pregnancy registered in her mind.
Everyone left the conference room and she was about to leave when she noticed that Tina was still on her seat and seemed to be so busy checking something on her bag. She didn’t want to talk to Tina because she was afraid that her emotions would betray her… she was afraid that the blonde would see the sadness in her eyes. As she walked towards the door she heard the blonde’s soft and angelic voice calling her name
“Bette…”
The brunette turned around to face Tina
“Do you have a minute?”
Bette could have made some excuses to avoid Tina but the almost pleading look in those beautiful hazel eyes stopped her from doing so. She walked towards the blonde and gave her a small smile

A BIG THANKS to everyone who read the first part of this short story. Mix reactions are expected and as promised I’m open and respect all opinions. This is just a big WHAT IF scenario that has been swimming inside my head the moment I laid my eyes on Bette and Tina. Just like what I’ve said before I don’t mean disrespect and please understand that this is just fiction.
I also want to point out that about five comments on the first chapter were deleted. I’m not sure what happened, probably a system glitch, but it sure feels quite disappointing. As a writer comments are very important, no matter how short or long they are for they serve as a fuel to keep the engine running. Hopefully it won’t happen again not only to my stories but also to other stories.
Happy to see familiar and new names commenting and special thanks to all of you amazing ladies!

Plenty of couples tangle on The L Word and none brings the emotion or the heat that Bette and Tina do together. What’s up with that chemistry?
“I don’t know how we have it, or why we have it. I just know we have it. We’re very different in a lot of ways. Maybe that has something to do with it. As actresses, we want the same results. We love and care about our characters. Maybe our differences makes the chemistry crackle. And our desire to find the core truth of these characters also helps.”
So is it easier, or harder, to create that crackle now that the actresses have gotten to know each other better over five seasons?
“When we shot that love scene in the first season, after we brought home that guy, I had known her for maybe a week,” Laurel said. “And the chemistry was there then. I think you have more chemistry when you don’t hang out with someone so much. I stay kind of private. I think some mystery creates tension. Obviously, we are great friends, but we give each other a lot of space, too.”
So, are they too buddy-buddy now to put enough heat in future sex scenes, should, you know, there happen to be any?
“It’s fun now. We giggle. We do a lot of ‘Can you put your hand here?’ You know, where the skin is different after having a baby,” Laurel says. “But I don’t think we have lost the tension. We know the characters. And that chemistry is just there. It’s undefinable. In my career, I have done a few sex scenes. And sometimes it’s just there. Sometimes it’s just not. It’s an undefined visceral connection between two people. Bette and Tina just have it. I think Shane and Carmen also had it.”
Sorry to hear the show getting lots of cuts when it was aired there in Brazil, in my country I think it wasn’t even aired at all because Philippines is predominantly a Roman Catholic country. Fortunately I was able to buy a DVD and of course the internet which eventually led me to the world of Tibette Fan Fiction. Hope you’ll approve this this second part too (-;

Wow what a chapter! The ultrasound sex is one of the most iconic scenes in the entire show and my friend you gave it justice. I feel like i’m in that room with the crew completely mesmerized by that scene. I believe in freedom of expression and everyone is entitled to their own opinion so phacey please carry on!

Yes, like this if only that it brings back memories of the ultrasound love scene in season 2. Such a beautiful scene and Laurel to be admired for filming when pregnant many actresses wouldn’t have.

Very emotional chapter, need speaking up their mind is not easy, to act on it may brings consequences which hurting a lots of people. Both are attached with a commitment. Is not easy to get out of a marriage just because you are not happy. Just giving thoughts of how to manage all this in real life…….. Looking forward for more……
wow what a chapter I also remember the first time I watch that scene and was so entrance by the two actresses and how stunning Laurel was while pregnant it blew my mind. also how addicted to the show I became I was trolling the site for any spoilers and that’s how I came across this wonderful site that apart from the show the fanfics saved my sanity and as they say the rest is history even after the show ended we are still here reading and writing about it loved this chapter pps.
I remember how other readers reacted to this story a few years back which i think the reason why you stopped posting so imagine my surprise when i receive a notification that you posted a new story. People have their own opinions and you can’t please everybody but know that your loyal readers support you all the way. This chapter was intense and your version of the post ultrasound sex was amazing! I have never seen a pregnant woman looking so good as Laurel Holloman. Definitely one of my favorite scenes of the show.
That was one of the best scenes i ever saw on television and you recreated it again, simply amazing!

All you are doing Phacey is putting my thoughts on screen. omg like I wrote before on this chapter before you repost it is, I believe this is how it actually happen on set. I am one of the firm believers that those two were very much in love for real. I have read their interviews including the one you posted and watched interviews studying closely and trust me it’s there plan to see, fans should take their minds out of fiction and see the reality right before their eyes that’s all im saying…I love this story it was always one of my favorites happy you came back to repost it…..
oh by the way can I just say yessssssssssss you updated Lover in the Dark, I was thinking I was going to have to look you up, come to your house or work whatever, take your computer and update the story myself geesh lol
Thank you so much for posting this very intense scene. Bette and Tina had a lot of love scenes throughout the show and I loved all if it but still I can’t help but wish they had more.
I especially loved this ultrasound love scene. But in your imagination, it was more intense; describing their feelings while doing that very passionate love scene. Their amazing chemistry was so obvious that can’t be missed as if they had this special connection with each other. Even the crews on the set noticed it.
Surely, after watching that scene most Tibette fans wondered what’s happening with their favorite couple behind the scene and wished there’s more going on with them other than the professional work they were doing in front of the camera.
Although the lives of these two brilliant actresses were known to public… they have this special feelings toward each other that they had to conceal from others and of course from one another for a lot of reasons.
Whatever they feel towards each other… it was like the moon… part of it was always hidden away…
Looking forward to your next update. So curious if those hidden secrets would be revealed…
