Hunt for a hidden history

Then the line went silent, almost as if “Jenny” had hung up, but the clear breathing was still heard.
Tina eyed Marcus and the old lady, who understandingly nodded and backed away to leave the blonde with her own quest. She timidly asked again once left alone, “I know it was an alias, were you Sarah Schuster?”
“If you already know that, Officer Kennard, why are you asking?” All of a sudden, gone the accent, the woman spoke with perfect standard Canadian-American English that sounded all too familiar to her.
“Jen? What’s wrong?” Another voice, a little husky but definitely a woman, asked from the other side.
“There’s a crazy cop asking about Sarah Schuster.” Jenny replied in a whisper.
Tina had to roll her eyes at the remark.
“Well what’d you do then?”
“How the hell am I supposed to know? I thought you guys took care of that.”
The argument continued for thirty seconds, and Tina was becoming irritated. “Hello?”
“Lady, who sent you?” The other voice took over.
The young officer screwed her brows together, not sure if she trusted these people. “I asked the question first, are you Sarah Schuster?”
“Yes.”
“What the hell, Shane!” Jenny apparently snatched over the phone again. “What do you want from me, officer?”
The slight panic in that voice didn’t go unnoticed, Tina thought about the situation. She was a law enforcer, though suspended temporarily, she still had the upper hand when dealing with some ex-cons. “I want you to tell me how do you know Bette Porter?”
“What did you say?”
“Bette Porter.” Then the other side went completely silent this time. In shock, or in confusion, Tina couldn’t decide. She was scared to lose the connection, feeling propelled to say something. “Do you, do you know her? Was she one of yours?”
The phone switched hand once again, and the woman named Shane talked, “We haven’t heard from her for over five years. Thought she was dead.”
“She’s alive. And she’s in trouble. Can—can you help? She told me to find help.” The flicker of hope shined in her eyes, Tina pressed on.
“That’s weird. I thought she didn’t want anything to do with us anymore when she drifted.”

Alright, folks, it’s been a hell of a ride filled with my craziness, as you can see that the story is drawing to an end.
I promised you a good ending, so I’m working on the last few chapters and I feel a bit elated not to have to write about more blood and gun and fight.
Thanks for tolerating and reading! Comments are welcome as usual! Or just tell me random stuff, what’s on your mind.
Love and Peace

oh and dunn, bibi, lip, guys come on, I love HELENA! She’s so darn cute, especially from season 3 and on. To me she’s pretty harmless. I don’t get why so many people depict her as a evil bitch. She’s such a cinnamon bun, doesn’t deserve any of the shit people been throwing her way LOL
Don’t have the time to read now but I agree a little bit about your praise of Helena. But she will never my favourite woman.
Till later. ..
hello finished reading all your stories and I enjoyed them, you’re a genius to literature! I would like this novel has one or several sequels with many chapters, and yes going to write another novel I’d like to be a romantic comedy! Thank you for your novel.
OK i concede maybe HELENA is a good guy after all, she did sound the alarm. Now that TINA has made contact w the girls and knows some of what happen to BETTE lets go to chi-town and get her back.pps this is getting good
Here i am again and wow, what Bette is willing to endure, phew. Have a lot of respect for her and for you to be able to write it.
I am glad that Tina found Sarah Schuster and some how i knew that her real name was Jenny! That nutcase. I hate her more than Helena and you do a good job to make me like her :-).
But i am ready for the good stuff in this story, so bring it asap.
Thanks for the update!
Loving this twist. Bette certainly took a beating. I’m glad Helena had her back. Thanks
Hi there, silent reader here. Just wanted to say I love your tibette stories. Keep writing them so that I can keep enjoying them thanks! :)
I really I liked this chapter. and I’m looking forward to how you are shaping this story on.
Poor Bette lived through the agony anguish (I know how painful a broken rib :-D)
I’m glad that Tina is aware of what happened.
I’m looking forward to the next chapter
Our how I suffered with almost deadly attack
Dawn made in Bette, I hope this pain soon pass.
And Tina begins to unravel the truth behind Bette’s life.
The complete constellation.
