AT Alices house

Tina: I have to go away; I have to so many things to do. We will have to split the bank accounts, the house, and the investments.

Alice: wow, wow slow down cowboy, I know that you are hurting right now and I know that what Bette did to you is horrible and inexcusable, I am still finding it her to believe myself, But there is one thing that I do know and that is Bette has always loved you and whatever happened you guys can fix it.

Tina: Alice do not defend her,

Alice; I am not defending her or taking sides Tina but, I do think that you are moving to fast, I mean for Christ sakes, just like that split the accounts, sell the house without even talking to her, I mean, I gather you did not talk things out with her, I am just saying that is why you stayed here, right? Dont you think you should at least talk to Bette Tina?

Tina: No, Alice I am talking to Bette, ***** Bette all I wan to do is get as far away from Bette porter as possible.

Alice: Tina relax! You are not thinking straight

Tina; Alice I am thinking straight , for the first time in a long time I am thinking about me, listen to me Alice I need to borrow Mimi to run a couple of errands I should be back in half an hour or less

At Bettes and Tina House

Bette is thinking to herself
Hm, I wonder where Tina went, she is still not back and I am guising we will have to have a long talk when she gets back, oh , well gives me time to think of what I am going to say,
Damm, almost messed up what I have here, thank god she forgave me,

Hm, that ***** was make up *****, right? Damm, you porter what were you thinking oh that right you wasnt, ***** Candace, I do not even fell anything for her. What the ***** did I do? Ok have to put and end to that, so at least when Tina comes in I can tell her I ended it.

Bette grabs her keys and heads to the CAC she knows Candace will be there tending to last minute details.


Alices house

Alice is there alone, too much for her to absorb. She begins thinking about Bette, Tina, Dana and the kiss, Shane acting weird. ***** it she says out loud
First things first she picks up the telephone and dials Bette, no way was she just going to let Tina walk away from Bette, from them all, she knew Bette would find away to fix it.

Bette machine picks up

Alice: Bette, Bette, Bette if you are there pick up, com on pick Bette up it really is important. Ok here is the deal Tina is here she is flipping out talking about leaving town, you need to get over here because she making me drive her to the airport and will not tell me where she is going ok call me on my cell not at the house.

Alice hangs up and starts to dial Bette cell phone, she hears the door and gets startled, and Tina is back>

ALICE HANGS UP AND Says

Alice: Hey that was quick (nervously)

Tina: I just went around the corner to make some arrangements

Alice: arrangements for what, Tina what are you doing, what the ***** is going on , you are not thinking straight

Tina I am thinking straight I have to be at the airport at 12;00 ok

Alice : so where are we going, you do want me to come with you Right Tina?

Tina; no Alice I have to do this alone, Ill call you when I get there.


Bette enters the CAC

Bette sees Candace as she enters and heads to her office. In, her mind she knows Candace will follow her to her office. Candace looks up as she sees Bette pass her, she begins to wonder, why she is here , she figure she would not see her the rest of the weekend. Then Candace begins to smile, she is here for me, see wants me, with this Candace heads for Bettes office. An enters, she then and closes the door behind her. She moves toward Bette who is leaning on her desk with her arms cross.

Bette: how did I know that if you saw me come in here you would follow?

Candace: because maybe we both want the same thing?

Bette; really, and what would that be, please tell me?

Candace looks at Bette and she sees that she has a strange look on her face.

Candace: is something wrong Bette/ are you angry at me?

Bette; I wouldnt call it angry I am so furious at you, not just you but at my self too for what we did, for what I allowed to happen.

Candace: you are acting like what is happening with us is bad; I never got the sense from you that it was a bad thing

Bette: Candace, are you kidding me, I have a wife, I ***** up, and Tina found out, she saw us. It was horrible!

Candace: Oh, *****, Im sorry I never meant for Tina to find out, at least not this way
Bette looks at Candace in disbelief

Bette; what, what are you saying, how did you think she was going to find out, tell me

Candace: I figure that we would eventually have to tell her, that we want to be together.

Bette starts to laugh and then she becomes enraged.

Bette: are you ***** kidding me, tell her about us, there is no us Candace,

Candace: What are you talking about, we connected you wanted me just as much as I wanted you, and you know it

Bette: no, Candace I lusted after you. I want Tina. Tina is my wife. Tina is the only one I wanted and still wants she is the one I love. I am sorry it is over, understand me.

Bette; I am sorry, I did not mean for anyone to get hurt but if I am to chose I am choosing the person who I want to spend my life with. I have to choose Tina, we, I mean I made a mistake I should of not allowed it to happen.

Candace: just like that, huh? Tell me something Ms. Porter, who is so madly in love with her wife, what was missing in your lovely marriage that made you run to me. Can you answer that, you used me, you used me.

Bette: I am so sorry, it was a mistake, it should of never have happen trust me when I say I never meant for you or Tina to get hurt and I have hurt the both of you I am sorry Candace but it is over and I have to go I have to go home to Tina my wife

Bette picks up her car keys and heads out the door, leaving Candace there in tears.
She starts to drive home and pulls in to a flower shop to get flowers for her wife
