I miss you. I need you– January FF Challenge–Chapter 3
Her tears flowed freely with the question but sadly she shook her head no. Bette has chosen to stay with Candace, She was reconciled that she would be a single mom. “No” she spoke finally as Dr Wilson stayed by her side. With cracking voice she answered, “I’m on my own with this and despite what you see, I am okay with it. I’m okay with her not knowing. I’m just happy to hear my baby’s heartbeat.”
“This is a special time for prospective parents, when they get to hear then see their baby. I know this was a child you and Bette planned to have together. Are you sure, you are okay with not letting her know”
“That’s just it Dr Wilson. We planned on having this child together but we are not together. And I am not anticipating that we will be together ever again. I chose to be inseminated without her knowledge. I choose to go through this without her knowledge. When the time is right I will tell her but now is not the time." Tina’s tone change to one of anger. "She is still fucking her carpenter. Why would I want her back in my life or my baby’s life? She doesn’t want me. I don’t want to have her if she doesn’t want me.”
Dr Wilson squeezed Tina’s hand and added, “I have to admit I was surprised when you came to me alone to be inseminated again. I guess I should have recognized there was trouble then. This is such a surprise for me. I always felt you two had a special love. I thought you would be great parents together.”
“I thought so too but things change. People change. Things happen that the relationship cannot survive.”
“Tina infidelity is not the end of all relationships.”
Tina sat up and wrapped her arms around herself trying to get physically and emotionally warm, “It is when the infidelity continues long after the other partner knows about the cheating.” Looking at Dr Wilson through moist eyes, Tina added, “It doesn’t seem to be cheating anymore once it continues. It seems to be a choice of a new relationship.”
Dr Wilson hugged Tina consoling her with, “I didn’t know. I am so sorry.”
After accepting the hug, Tina sighed and said sadly, “How could you know? Even our closest friends had no clue. Regardless, Bette has chosen a new life and a new love. She has not spoken to any of her friends. She must be happy in her new life.”
Dr Wilson shook her head, “It all sounds so surprising but I guess these things happen.” Smiling as she stepped back to leave, “Well, to end on a good note. Everything seems to be gong very well. Baby has a very strong heart beat. I think we can look forward to a sustainable pregnancy”
Tina smiled back, “At least one thing is sustainable.”

hey squirl/soon to be squirl 2, good show. i like things from tina’s perspecitve as well…that whole storyline made me wonder…why did bette continue the affair? why wouldn’t she continue? would tina have wanted her back had she not seen that creepy photo on bette’s email? tina tina tina, such a mystery in a way…jolly good squirl, looking forward to more:)
Great story. Love seeing Tinas point of view.PLease continue and post soon
Excellent explanations.
wow great chapter, this situation was so sad both parties… i now tina meant it as a surprize but WoW.
Good to know T’s feelings at the time of cheating. T maybe wrong of not letting Bette know of the insemination. If she let bette know the insemination, it might have prevented the infidelity. I don’t know…. as fas as i’m aware of, both were hurting and too self absorbed to process the problems after the miscarriage…tnx.
I don’t agree with this. You surprise someone with a gift of some kind, you do not surprise someone with getting pregnant. That should have been done together, and for Tina to have done it alone was as big a betrayal as the affair. I also want to know, if Bette assaulted Tina, why was Bette the one hit and bitten, and why was Tina clearly putting Bette’s hand where she wanted it. No failed relationship is ever the fault of all one person but Tina still doesn’t get that.
