Before Bette could say a word, Tina straightened up and hit the brunette’s chest repeatedly, throwing incoherent breathless curses.

”Tee, stop,” Bette uttered quietly, getting a grip on her lover’s uncontrollable hands. She pulled Tina close to herself and leaned her forehead against Tina’s. ”Stop…”

Feeling Bette’s hot breath on her mouth, smelling her natural scent, Tina surrendered and wrapped her arms around the dark-haired woman, squeezing tight.

”I’m sorry,” Bette crooned into Tina’s ear. ”I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry…” she expressed her regret over and over, stroking Tina’s head that lay on her shoulder limply. ”I love you. And I’m tearing myself apart inside over you, because I want us to go our separate ways, so you would live a normal life, but at the same time I just want to get my claws into you and never, ever let you go.”

Tina lifted her head, revealing her bloodshot eyes. ”I choose the second.”

Bette smiled fondly, wiping Tina’s cheeks off tear traces with soft caresses of her thumbs. ”I’d rather choose that too,” she admitted and released a sigh. ”Forgive my today’s behavior, Tee. I’ve been a total ass.”

”Yes, you have,” the blonde returned the smile. ”But I forgive you.”

So as to confirm the reconciliation the two lovers met each other halfway in a loving kiss.

”We will be okay?” Tina asked in an undertone, craving for some reassurance.

”We will, baby…” Bette replied between warm kisses that she was peppering all over the blonde’s face. ”Do you wanna go home?”

Tina shrugged. ”Do you?”

”To be honest, I could really use another beer right now,” the brunette chuckled. ”You sure know how to kill a good buzz, Ms. Kennard,” she jested genially.

The blonde gave Bette’s shoulder a playful blow.

”Oww!” the brunette feigned a grimace of pain, rubbing her shoulder. ”That hurt!”

”Drama queen,” Tina teased and pulled her girlfriend out of the accursed bathroom. ”Make it quick with your beer. I wanna come home already and have you work for all the emotional crap I went through today.”

Bette smirked. ”How do you know if I’ll be able to do that?”

”I’m not dragging you drunken ass home, so don’t even think of overindulging,” the blonde warned, not without good nature as they walked down the hallway.

”Yes you are,” Bette sassed back and maneuvered to sneak a brisk kiss on Tina’s sweet lips.

”Damn, we are out of booze!” suddenly appearing from around the corner, Alice complained loudly.

”What?!” Bette widened her eyes. ”You drunkards guzzled two fucking cases in what? Fifteen minutes?!”

Tina giggled. ”Babe, actually almost an hour has passed.”

”That doesn’t matter!”

”What were you two doing in there for so long anyway?” Alice frowned drunkenly, pressing two full bottle of beer to her chest absent-mindedly.

As soon as Bette’s gaze fell on the beer, the brunette didn’t hesitate a second. ”We were fucking, not that it’s any of your business. And this,” she snatched both bottles out of Alice’s grasp, ”is mine.”

”Nooo! Those are the last ones!” Alice howled like a baby, whose candy had been stolen by a bad guy. She pounced at the retreating brunette and wrestled with her, trying to get her beer back. ”TK, tell her!”

Tina chuckled heartily at the childish scene and went ahead to join the gang on the patio.
