Bette nodded. ”Right. But when I met you, this place has become no longer that important for me without you here, by my side.”
Tina tilted her head, admiring her lover with a besotted look in her hazel eyes.
A waitress walked up to them and took their orders. Having filled the glasses with red wine, she left.
”It was a wonderful surprise, Bette. Thank you for making me happy, for the flowers, for arranging the dinner,” the blonde expressed her sentiments.
The brunette took a sip of wine and shrugged, feeling a little self-conscious. ”I haven’t done anything romantic for you in a long time. For that I apologize. I know it does me no credit and I feel like a jerk about it.”
Tina reached out and caressed Bette’s hand that lay on the table. ”Baby… I love you no matter how often you do romantic things for me. You’re a busy woman, so it’s not like you don’t do anything romantic for no reason.”
Bette smiled, if a bit sadly. ”My busyness has absolutely nothing to do with it, Tee. I’d even say I was too busy being a jealous, bad-tempered, moody bitch to remember that I’m actually supposed to show that I love you, not just say the words.”
Tina put out her other hand to demonstrate the diamond ring that glittered on her finger elegantly as if to prove Bette’s innocence.
”That’s not enough, baby,” the brunette shook her head. ”Not for me.”
Their orders were soon brought to the table. The couple enjoyed dinner and chatted leisurely about nothing of any importance, sharing different life stories and making each other laugh. It was something both of them had been craving for – to spend time together, having lighthearted conversations, flirting with each other like two enamored teenagers and just getting to know one another all over again.
After dinner they decided to take a jaunt along the beach. Having kicked off their shoes, they walked off together hand in hand toward the ocean that was perfectly calm tonight. The sun was setting and the scenery of the sky with it’s reflection in the water looked spectacular.
As they strolled along the shoreline, the wet sand clinging to their toes, Bette wrapped her arm around Tina’s shoulder and Tina in her turn hugged Bette’s waist. The beach was deserted at this time of the evening and they were happy to be alone, feeling like the only people in the universe where nobody else mattered.
”I’m so happy,” Tina said in a soft voice. ”I want to stay here with you forever.”
Bette smiled warmly. She leaned over and kissed Tina’s temple.
”Are you happy?” Tina asked after a moment of silence.
”I am,” Bette replied. ”As long as I’m with you, I am.”

I am very happy for the very long update, but i can’t read it now. I’m going for a vacation in a few hours.

We have missed you. This chapter is so beautiful, thanks for give them time for love, not only sex, which, but the way, was so, so hot; but especially love, and we see it very clearly at the end of the chapter; I haven’t notice any boring part in this post, on the contrary, because we are worry for the sake of Bette and terrified for her criminal deeds, we need to know, how is she doing, now that she is ‘boss’, perhaps she has more possibilities to negotiate her and her friends’ redemption. I’m sorry for Shane and Carmen; Bette could see herself in that mirror; I like that Helena is back (hope is not snitching on them) because after all, they are friends, I think Tina’s influence on Bette is good for the recovery of Bette as a human being.
I don’t understand how and why, but for some reason this chapter has given me optimisms of a clean and happy future life for Bette and Tina, a faith for redemption (I hope I’m not delirious). I appreciate a lot the long chapter, but please update more frequently, this story is too good, I enjoyed reading it; thanks and please post soon.

I loved this chapter.
I still have my heart in my hand because Bette is now a boss, and that makes her even more involved in crime and also become a target for her enemies. Bette has to get out of this life as quickly as possible before it’s too late.
It was simply sensational the bette and tina love scene, pure provocation.
All universe
