    “Is Jodi at the dinner?”

    “No. Jodi isn’t here, but I will see her tomorrow.”

    “Mommy says Jodi is not your girlfriend again.”

    “No she’s not. She’s just a friend. You and your Mommy are my only special girls. Mommy and I don’t have any other girlfriends. It’s just us. We’re a family together with you. I’m so happy you asked your Mommy to be my girlfriend. We wanted to be together but you helped us to do it. Now we are very happy. Are you happy?”

    “I’m very happy too Momma, but I want you to come home.”

    “I’ll be home in two days. Do you know what day that will be?”

    “What’s today?”

    “Today is Wednesday.”

    Angie figures out the days of the week and answers her mother.

    “You’re coming home on Friday?”

    “That’s right baby. I’ll be home on Friday. Hey are you excited about going to the Arts and Crafts Festival with Auntie Shane and Leigh tomorrow? I’m so sorry to miss it. I’m sure they are going to have a lot of nice art.”

    “Yeah. Last time we went I had a lot of fun.”

    “Well you be good for your Auntie Shane, and hold her hand OK. There will be a lot of people there, and we don’t want you to get lost.”

    “I will Momma. I’m going to buy you and Mommy presents.”

    “That’s sweet honey. I can’t wait to see what you buy me. Sweetie, I need to hang up soon. Can I speak to your Mommy for a minute?”

    “OK.”

    “I love you baby. I miss you a lot, but I’ll see you on Friday.”

    “Bye Momma. I love you too.”

    Angie hands the phone to Tina and runs off to her room.

    “Hey babe.”

    “Hi Tee. Is she doing OK?”

    “Yeah, she’s great. No meltdown this time just missing you. I miss you too.”

    “I miss you guys, but I’ll be home in a couple of days. This trip was really worthwhile. I’ve met several artists that I want to show. Jodi is introducing me to a few more tomorrow. I see Angie brought up Jodi again. I guess she still associates her with my trip to New York. Did she seem upset when she talked about her?”

    1. I”m back! Pissed about work! Only worked 1.30 hours cause I went into overtime and she wouldn’t let me work any longer. Came home and watered all my house plants. Just sat down from this morning. I signed on and founded this wonderful post. I’m one happy soul NOW! PPS
