The beautiful blonde woman allowed her attraction and emotion to take over her morality when she pursued Bette.  She could have any woman she wanted – Why Bette? – Why an unavailable woman? – Why be the mistress? For love, well that’s foolish according to her best friend, Helena Peabody.  

“She is not going to leave her husband and kids to be with you exclusively.  Why torture yourself with an artificial hope?” The hotel heiress asked Tina, a dear friend whom she secretly loves and pines for but never let the word out of her mouth. She tried her best to be supportive of Tina although she knew this was a mistake. Tina will end up hurts and alone once the relationship comes to an end – Bette will choose her family no doubt about that.

Two days ago, Bette spend the evening with Tina, talking, dining, and making love with her until it was time for her to return home.  Bette can’t spend the night with Tina unless her husband, Senator Jay Jackson goes out of town. Tina can only wish she doesn’t have to share Bette with another person, nevertheless a husband.  

Tina invited Helena over to her place.  She didn’t want to be alone and needed someone to comfort her – Helena is the best person – for she’s the only person who won’t judge her unlike her older sister, Miranda.  “You’re stealing another man’s wife, Tina. Stop being a home wrecker.  Where’s your moral?” Miranda asked her.

“I guess it went down the drain. I’m not stealing Bette, we both made the decision to be together…It’s not like she’s some jacket lying around just waiting for me to steal. I know I’m responsible for my action.  Bette is responsible for her marriage too and if she tells she doesn’t want me anymore then I leave her alone,” said Tina.

“You’re sickening and morally corrupted,” Miranda said disgusted with her younger sister.

“Don’t you act so righteous, David was married too when you were involved with him.  You don’t get to shove it in my face just because he divorced his wife and married you,” Tina said fuming with anger that her sister can be so hypocritical although she did the same thing.
