Is She The One?

Bette rose from the table and made her way over to the telephone.

Alice, what the *****? Why are you calling at this God damn time in the morning. Dont you have a life for Christ sake?
Bette shouted furiously down the phone.

Tina stood in the kitchen, leaning on the counter, watching the effect Alice was having on Bette, who by this time was flapping her arms in the air and pacing the floor at an alarming rate. She couldnt help letting out a small giggle at her furious girlfriend.

Bette shot her head back and raised her eyebrows at Tina.

What?
Bette looked at Tina, not quite understanding why she would be giggling.

Tina shook her head.
Nothing Bette, nothing.
She said, as she raised her coffee mug to her mouth.

Bette carried on staring at Tina.

Bette, are you still there? Porter, are you ***** deaf?
Alice screamed down the phone.

Bette tore her eyes away from Tina, remembering she was having a conversation with Alice.

What the ***** do you want Alice?
Bette asked through clenched teeth.

Calm down porter, Im only calling to remind you were meeting at the Planet for breakfast at 8.30, jeez your such a grouch, you should try going to sleep, when you go to bed, instead of staying up all night *****.
Alice exclaimed.

***** you Alice.
Bette retorted.
And no I havent forgotten were meeting at the Planet for breakfast, we will be there at 8.30. Good bye Alice.
Bette slammed the off button, before Alice had the chance to say goodbye.

That ***** woman drives me crazy. Bette said, as she walked over to Tina, wrapping her arms around her waist and nuzzling the back of Tinas neck. Shell be the death of me I swear. She continued nuzzling on Tinas neck, while she slipped her hands under Tinas tank and started caressing her stomach. You feel so good T. Bette whispered in Tinas ear.

Tina turned in Bettes arms and placed a kiss on Bettes lips.
So whats for breakfast Bette? Im kinda hungry seeing as though we never got to eat that takeout last night. Tina said as she moved a strand of hair behind Bettes ear and proceeded to nibble on it.

Bette pulled back from Tina.

I know what Ill be having for breakfast if you dont stop doing that. Bette laughed. Seriously though T, I said we would meet Alice at the Planet. So, youre coming right? Ill buy you breakfast.

Of course Ill come, just let me shower first, okay baby? Tina replied as she set off for the bathroom.

T, theres a spare toothbrush in the bathroom cabinet. Bette said lovingly.

Tina glanced over her shoulder at Bette. Okay thanks Bette.

Bette sat down at the table and carried on at her laptop, she figured it would take her mind of a naked Tina in the shower.
A naked Tina in the shower. She raised her head and looked in the direction of the bathroom and smiled, she shook her head. Dont even go there, Porter. She said out loud to an empty room.

It wasnt long before Bette and Tina were walking hand in hand and entering the Planet.

Bette glanced round and noticed Alice and Dana sat at a table.

T, go take a seat with Dana and Alice, Ill get our order, what would you like for breakfast baby? Bette smiled.

Just get me what ever your having Bette, I dont mind. Tina continued making her way over to Dana and Alice.

Hi guys, how you doin? Tina pulled out a chair and sat next to Alice.

Hi T, I didnt expect to see you here. Dana said, looking at Tina, then at Alice.

So Tina its great to see you. Bellowed Alice, eyeing Tina up and down, leerily. I take it you stayed at Ms Porters apartment last night?

Tina leant closer to Alice and looked her straight in the eyes. And what makes you think that Alice? Asked Tina, in a stern voice.

Alice shifted in her seat.
Well its early, and you came in with Porter, so I assumed you stayed at her place last night. She replied nervously, still feeling Tinas eyes burning in to her. Alice was feeling a little uncomfortable, she didnt know very much about Tina Kennard, and she wasnt sure about her yet. She knew Bette was in love with her, she knew that because shed never seen Bette react like she did over a woman before, but Alice needed to find out a little bit more about Tina Kennard before she could make a decision about her, one way or the other.

Tina sensed Alice felt a little uncomfortable and decided to put her at ease.

Alice, dont sound so nervous, Im only playing with you, of course I stayed at Bettes place last night. She smiled warmly, nudging Alice on the shoulder. And yes, we did do it all night. Tina winked at Alice.

Alice suddenly felt at ease, and broke out in a big smile. I think I am gonna like you Tina Kennard. Then her mind started to go in to overdrive and she started to chuckle to herself. Your gonna give me so much ammunition against Porter. Alice thought to herself.

Alice reached out and pinched Tina on the arm, and gave her a wink back.
I like you Tina Kennard, I think your gonna fit in well with our little gang.

Tina glanced up and saw Bette approaching the table.

Here Bette, let me help you with those. Tina reached out and took the coffee mugs from Bettes hands.

Bette pulled out a chair and sat down next to tina.
Thanks T, I got you a blueberry muffin. She smiled. Hope thats okay baby? Said Bette, as she passed the muffin to Tina.

Tina reached out and took it from Bettes hand.
Thanks Baby, thats just what I was hoping for, Tina smiled back at Bette.

Your welcome baby. Bette said, taking Tinas hand and raising it to her mouth and kissing her palm.

Alice watched all this and rolled her eyes.

For ***** sake you two, Im eating my breakfast, your gonna make me barf, with all this ***** baby talk.
Alice snapped.

Dana shot Alice a dirty look.
Shut up Alice. She turned to face Bette and Tina. I think its sweet, their in love, leave them alone. Your only jealous.

Alice made a face and crossed her arms.
I am so not jealous Dana. Alice huffed.

Bette laughed at Alices actions.
You so are jealous Pieszecki BABY. Bette said sarcastically.

***** you Porter. Alice growled.

Dont think so Alice, you never could satisfy me, why do you think I dumped your sorry *****. Bette retorted playfully.

On hearing this little admission from Bette, Tina rose to her feet, slammed the coffee mug on the table, and turned to face Bette. She looked angrily in to her eyes.

Bette, Ive got to go, Ill call you sometime maybe. Tina said furiously.

With that she turned her back and stormed out of the Planet.

Bette looked at Alice, Alice looked at Bette, Dana looked at Bette, ***** they all looked at each other.

Bette was absolutely flabbergasted, she did not know what to say or do. Everyone just sat there open mouthed.

Until Alice, piped up.
