Bette was beginning to regret her over active sex drive – this probably wasn’t that tactful. As Tina stood looking around the room lost in her thoughts Bette re-did the buttons of her shirt and got ready to catch Tina if she got upset.

Tina looked at her bed – her last memory of that bed was lying on it just hours after her mom died and crying her heart out. She looked back at Bette – maybe she needed to exorcise some demons. Bette smiled – she knew what Tina was referring to and it would stay unspoken as far as she was concerned.
“Lets go “
Tina nodded and took a final look around her bedroom – maybe one day she and Bette would sleep in here – but not tonight. She sighed and walked out of the room. Bette followed her and went into the sitting room to finish her scotch – she drained it and collecting the glasses she took them through into the kitchen to wash them and return them to where Emma kept them. Tina followed her into the kitchen and lent against the oven

Bette neatly folded the tea towel she had been using and looked at the blonde

Tina nodded and taking hold of Bette’s hand they left the apartment making sure the alarm was set and the door was locked. Coming down in the elevator Tina was silent – Bette stood facing her and hopefully giving her the time and space that she needed. Once they were standing on the pavement Tina looked at Bette

Bette raised an eyebrow
“What about the movie and the meal ?”
“We can pick up a Chinese or pizza on the way home “
“And the movie ?”
“We can see it another time or wait until it comes out on DVD “
“That’s heretic talk Ms Kennard from you “
Tina let out a long sigh and stood in front of Bette and took her hands. She moved closer and kissed the brunette – the kiss was long and slow. Bette grinned

Tina did – this time the kiss was much longer and had much more passion behind it. Bette smiled as she looked down at the blonde
“You really want to go home ?”
