    Emma kissed her “Find us somewhere hot with a big bed and maybe a pool “

    “Mom has a place in Nassau – I took Bette and Tina there when their relationship was secret”
    “That sounds nice – you sure she will be okay about it – she won’t walk in on us will she ?”
    “She has things that will keep her in New York this weekend – I have the keys – you fancy it ?”
    “Can we get a flight ?”
    “Leave that to me “ Helena said “Don’t worry your pretty little head “
    Emma’s eyebrow raised slowly and fixed it on Helena who laughed – she knew that she was in trouble
    “Pour me a coffee Peabody and I might not kill you for that remark “
    Helena kissed Emma again and did as she was told. Emma sat down and picked up the New York Times and started to read the headlines.
    “You want some cereal or toast ?”
    Helena asked as she put the coffee cup beside Emma.
    “I wouldn’t have had you down as the sort who makes breakfast for her conquests “
    Helena put her hands on Emma’s waist and kissed her neck
    “Self interest – I am keeping your energy up “
    Emma laughed “I will get something later “
    “I don’t mind “
    “What are you having ?”
    “Well what I want is you – naked between my legs but I will settle for muesli “
    “Not as good as oral sex but it will do “
    Helena started to move around the kitchen as Emma drank her coffee and read the paper. Helena looked across at Emma and realised how unusual it was for her to be fixing breakfast for a “ conquest “. Except she didn’t regard Emma as a conquest – she didn’t want to think of her in those terms.
    “Have you seen this latest initiative by the mayor ?” Emma asked
    They fell into a comfortable and interesting conversation about New York politics which lasted over breakfast and a second cup of coffee before they headed off to their respective offices.

    1. This seems like it’s almost an incestuous relationship but it’s not. I think Helena and Emma are grown adults without commitments and they should be able to live their lives as they choose. No one should be commenting and judging them, most especially Rosemary. The relationship will sink or swim on it’s own. I am cheering for the relationship to work out cuz regardless of the age difference everyone deserves love and fulfillment.

    2. Great story line….I think this could work between Emma and Helena. I think its going to be just fine. If Tina is true to what she has said to Bette, to Emma and to Helena, then things will be fine no matter whether they break up or they turn it into something long term.

      Peggy needs to just chill and follow Rosemary’s advise. Helena is an adult and can make her own decisions. And as long as Bette’s relationship with Tina is not threatened, then Bette and Helena will remain friends. The best thing that Bette and Tina and everyone else is to remain neutral with respect to the two. If problems come up between Helena and Emma, do not take sides. Let them work it out. What ever their future is, its in their hands.

      Personally, I think that this could work for Helena and Emma. There is something between the two that we just cannot see yet. It appears so unlikely, that maybe it just could turn into something long term. And if they are both happy, then why not.

      Great Story line…..can not wait to see how this turns out. Actually if Helena and Emma are in a stable relationship with each other or someone else, its helps Bette and Tina’s relationship. They will feel less obligation to be the social outlet for their friend and mother. They have someone else to fill their time which leaves more time for Bette and Tina to be together and work on their own relationship.

    4. Alleyemmerson, I have gone back to read some of your older stories again while spending time at home. I love New York Minute. Did it end at chapter 90? Just wondering
