It is you I have loved…..

Tina was sitting in the middle of a huge pile of mud…laughing. Bette looked on in awe as this woman she had turned her heart away from sat and laughed at her predicament, making no move to get herself out of it. Suddenly there were two of the single fathers…men who had in the past tried to flirt with both Bette and Tina…by Tina’s side ready to rescue her. To Bette’s amazement she waved both of them off and just continued to sit there, filling her hands full of mud, then dropping it and digging in for some more.

"MOM!!!" Angelica saw that her mother had fallen in the mud and went running to see if she was all right. As she ran past Bette, she grabbed her hand, dragging her with her. "Mama come on, mom fell!"

Once again Bette found herself dutifully following her daughter. Only this time when they got to where Tina was sitting, now shaking her head, knowing how silly she looked, she stopped and just stared at how absolutely gorgeous Tina looked, covered in mud, laughing like a loon.

"Mom, are you alright," Angelica asked with concern.

"Yes baby, I am just fine." Tina gave her daughter a mischievous look. "You want to help me out?" Tina reached for Angelica’s hand, and before she knew what was happening, Angelica found herself sitting in the mud right next to her laughing mother. "MOM!!" Angelica squealed.

By this time all the little girls were jumping into puddles and running around in circles, so the referee, knowing when to throw in the towel, blew the end of the game whistle.

Parents literally grabbed their daughters and all their equipment and ran for their cars, knowing it was a lost cause trying to keep dry.

Bette continued to watch Tina as she rolled around in the mud with their daughter, playing with her and tickling her. It was then that Bette saw her. Tina. Tina Kennard. The Tina she had fallen in love with oh so many years ago. The loving, generous, joyful spirit, who could make your heart feel like it was going to burst out of you chest, then gently calm the muscle with her soothing voice until it was beating at a normal rate again.

    1. Damnit Sea, why do you have to be so freaking romantic?!? That brought a tear to my eye and it amde me like tina lil bit!! Excellent Writing as usual!!! oh, yeah, I am first, yeah!

    2. This story has left me breathless and speechless. You have taken two very broken women and brought them back home. Somtimes you have to tumple all the way to the bottom so that you can once again begin to live. Both of these women have done that and are now on the road back to each other. Keep bringing us romantic stories.

    3. So, we should throw Tina into a bigass mud puddle? Like a baptism of sorts? I propose that you pitch this idea to IC. =D And DAMMIT you made me wanna cry because it was so sad then I DID cry because it was go gooey gushy happy. I think we need a group hug.

    4. What’s not to love about this?A lovely, romantic story for a rainy afternoon. Thanks for the gift and the memory of watching Shirley Temple movies on Saturday mornings. :}

    5. Wow…i had to think before i could leave any comment…purely because i was alittle speechless….that was really a beautiful piece of writing….not that im surprised from you…but that was amazeing.

    6. Absolutly beautiful. I think I’m gonna cry. Loved Angelica, kiss, kiss, kiss, may we be so fortunate as to have such moments in the show. Though I highly doubt it. Thankfully we have fanfic writers like you.

    7. I second what everyone said: Damn you Seahurst!! You make me cry everytime I read your stories…!!! And I agree with 99%sure, you should write another TiBette story… AMAZING chapter as usual!!

    8. Aaaawwwww Seahurst, that was so touching and so beautiful at the end. I really felt for them both and at the end you had me crying. It was beautiful. Thank you for such a loving story. Patience is a virtue.

    9. You’re always a delightful read. In one short story, you’ve described the struggle each woman has gone through, all the love lost and love found between them and, of course, Angelica.

    10. That was SOOOO beautiful…the perfect ending to my day! I love everything you write and I look forward to the next gift you give to us. I’ll send my song request to the DJ for your next fanfic idea :)

    11. Ah, Sea. Ever the romantic, you just couldn’t deny your Tibette heart. This story actually stirred mine into being happy for their reunion. Very nice!

    12. … Wow… You made me forgive Tina. And trust me, at this point, that’s an amazing accomplishment. Dammit, Sea, why are you such a good writer?! Only you would know that mud and rain would make everything better. Thank you, thank you, thank you, for all of your stories. I never miss ’em. Write more soon, but, until you do, this will surely be floating around in my head.

    13. That was awesome. But u are killing with these one time only fics. Are u every going to do another long TiBette fic again????? I know season 3 wounded us all especially after seeing it again tonight.

    14. Sea – You are AMAZING and the most totally romantic writer on this board. You create magic with your oh so lovely descriptions of emotion. Thanks to your friend for suggesting this song – you wrote a fabulous story. WOW WOW WOW.

    15. We may need Angelica on standby in the event we need a “kiss, kiss, kiss” moment during S4. I want to say that this story is phenomenal but I’m not sure that does it justice. Just amazing, Seahurst.

    16. Beautiful, absolutely beautiful. As I was reading your story it was painting quite a vivid visual in my head. Just phenominal, really … kudos.

    17. No matter how lost they are, Angelica and the love they both share together always bring them back together…a nice little story!
