Helena smiled from ear to ear. She knew that Bette was in her mother’s favor, but Jesus!

"Babe?" The soft voice of the mocha beauty called out. Helena turned around and smiled. She could swear that she saw a glow around Bette’s body. Bette was wrapped in a towel with a towel around her head.

"I’m out here, love." Bette grinned and made her way to the balcony, "I’ve got interesting news. Mummy opened my account again."

"Oh yeah?"

"Only until next Friday, though. So, I can spoil you."

"You don’t have to do that."

"That’s why she opened it. So you can ‘be treated in the proper Peabody manner’. Her words, not mine." Bette giggled and jumped into Helena’s lap, "What did you do to my mother to have her be so generous to you?"

"I have no idea."

"You just have a way, darling. You have a presence that women of all ages, ethnicities, backgrounds, and sexualities find irresistable."

"Oh, is that it?"

"That’s it, sweetpea." Bette took Helena’s lips into hers.

"You spoil me enough already."

"Do I?"

"Mmm hmmm." Helena lifted Bette off of her and stood up with her.

"Well, then. Off to bed, yeah? So I can spoil you more." Helena patted her bottom and Bette jumped in response.

Bette dropped her towel on the way, leaving Helena with a sight that so many women had fallen for time and time again. She unraveled the towel from her head and laid in the bed. Helena dropped her robe and laid against the sheet, wrapping her arms tightly around Bette’s waist.

"I love you, dearly, Helena." Bette whispered against Helena’s collarbone. Bette knew not what she had awakened in Helena. The lover that had been chained somewhere deep inside of her for fear, that if she had been let out, of the pain she may cause.

Helena pressed her nose gently against Bette’s, hugging her tightly around the waist, "I love you more than you could ever imagine."

Meanwhile

Megan peeled off her t-shirt, leaving her in just a sports bra and her sweat pants. Her skin was drenched with sweat from dancing so hard. Her legs felt like jelly now. She only had a week to get this right. Her audition was so close, she could feel it. And her family would be there. Her new family—Bette, Angelica, Kit, Shane, Alice, Helena, and of course Carmen. She even invited Tina to come if she wanted. She called her mother and asked her to also come, if she could make the time.
