“Tee. I’ll be back in a few minutes then I need to go to the gym for my workout. I’m leaving to work from there like we talked about OK? I’ll pick up Angie from the after school program and we’ll stop and pickup something for dinner. We should be home by 6:30p.”

“OK. I’m going to stop by the condo after work to pick up a few more things. I should be here at about the same time so we can plan to have dinner at around 6:45p? Does that work?”

“Sounds like a plan.”

Bette looked at the clock and saw that she was running behind schedule. She didn’t want to leave but she had to get going.

“Tee I need to get going or I’m going to be late and it’s almost time for you guys to get dressed. You have the duplicate house keys with you right so you can lock up? And if you’ll get Angie to set out Riley’s food and water before you leave that would be great. We might as well start getting her used to taking some responsibility for her puppy.”

“OK babe. I just need one more minute of your time before you go.” With that Tina pulled Bette back into the bed and kissed her deeply. Bette kissed her back and groaned when she had to break the kiss to leave.

“I love you. I’ll be right back.”

“I love you babe.”

Bette took Riley out and when she got back she could hear Tina in the shower. Angie was in her room getting dressed. She kissed Angie good-bye and told her she would see her later that evening. As Bette entered the bedroom to get her things to take to the gym Tina was just finishing her shower. She stepped out wrapped in a robe. They share another passionate kiss before Bette left for the gym.

“I love you. I’ll call you later.”

“I love you babe. I’ll see you at home tonight.”

“I really like the sound of that.”

“Me too.”

After Tina finished dressing she checked on Angie who was also dressed. Tina prepared a quick breakfast while she supervised Angie’s puppy food preparation. Riley scampered over and started eating even before Angie finished pouring food in his bowl. Tina filled the water bowl and handed it to Angie to place next to the food bowl. After breakfast they got their things and headed out the door to work and school. Angie couldn’t wait to see her best friend Jackie to tell her about her parents getting back together.
