“No you don’t, a happy Bette is payment enough” Tina gives her friend a hug

“You’re a good friend Al, we don’t know what we would have done without this year” Alice reciprocates the hug. She was so happy for Bette and Tina, she knew they belonged together.

“Probably split up and never speak each other again” They both laugh. It was probably true. If Alice and the gang hadn’t have been there during the tough times, they probably would have split up and never spoke to each other again but they’ve both realised that their love will always carry them through the bad times and keep them together “You look absolutely beautiful, Bette is going to have a heart attack when she sees you” Tina laughs

“Probably” Tina looks at her watch and realises it’s time to go and pick Bette up from the gallery “I better go and pick me other half up, do you have any idea where she’s taking me” Alice shakes her head

“Nope” Tina knows Alice is lying to her but she doesn’t press it “Now go and get your woman” Alice gives her a hug and wishes her good luck for the night. Alice shakes her head as she watches Tina walk down the path in her new dress and high heels

“You’ve got one hell of a woman Porter” Alice closes the door as Tina’s car pulls away from the drive and starts moving in the direction of the gallery.

Meanwhile at The Gallery, Bette had just finished getting dress. She was wearing a silk purple dress that went down to her ankles. It gave the right amount of exposure to her breasts and had a gem studded diamond shaped decoration in the middle of the dress. It made her look a million dollars but she was nervous. She opens her desk drawer and takes out a ring box. She opens it to reveal a beautiful 2 carat circle cut diamond ring. She takes a deep breath before she’s interrupted by knocking the office door

“Come in” Dana opens the door and her mouth falls to the floor. She couldn’t believe how beautiful Bette looked. She notices the open ring box in Bette’s hand but she couldn’t see the ring
