Chapter 1: “Bette this is…”

Alice Pedeski was getting dressed to go to the opening of a new art gallery that was run by her best friend, well known art collector and renowned talent spotter, Bette Porter. They had been in a relationship for six months before deciding it would be best if they just remained friends and Alice wouldn’t have it any other way. Alice had recently gained a new housemate called Tina Kennard. She had just split up with her long term boyfriend, Eric, after she discovered he was having an affair. They had met in at ‘The Planet’ coffee shop run by Bette’s half sister Kit and they hit it off instantly. However Tina was heterosexual as where Alice was bisexual.

“Tina come on we’re going to be late I told Bette we’d be there for seven” Tina didn’t have a problem with Alice being bisexual or that she had lesbian and bisexual friends. Tina was beautiful. She had flowing blonde hair, beautiful chocolate brown eyes and a great figure. In other words every gay or bisexual woman’s fantasy  

“OK OK keep your pants on” Tina exits her room. Alice’s mouth falls to the floor. She was drinking in Tina’s appearance. She was wearing a strapless deep blue satin dress. It hugged her in all the right places “So how do I look? It’s too formal isn’t it?” She was perfect

“Are you fucking kidding me? You look absolutely gorgeous you’ll catch the attentions of all the men and women tonight” Tina never really thought herself as bisexual. She experimented in High School with girls. She had even slept with a girl but she always thought herself straight. She was completely unaware that tonight was the night that was all going to change

“You think” Alice was certain that Tina was bisexual but she knew that it would be up to Tina when and if she was going to come out of the closet “You’ll steal all the attention away from Bette and believe me that’s nearly impossible to do” Tina laughs. She was looking forward to meeting Bette. Everytime they had planned to meet in the past either had to be cancelled or moved back. Bette was always out of town on business and Tina was always too busy at the film studios working on her film but tonight Tina had the night off and Bette was opening her new gallery. It was too perfect an opportunity to pass up
