Journey Of Love Ch.34
Aloha. Welcome to the Old Lahaina luau, do you have reservations?
Yes. Porter/Kennard.
Ahhhhh. Yes, here we go. Porter Kennard, party of 6. Kimo, will take you to your table, which as you requested is right near the stage. Enjoy your meal and the show.
Thank you.
Bette motioned for the girls to follow Kimo, and said that she would be there shortly. She hung back a bit in order to speak with the hostess privately.
Ummmm.Excuse me.
Yes, is there something else that you needed?
Well this is the first time in Hawaii for my friends and I. And well I wanted to make it special, do you have any ideas?
Well at the end of each show, the dancers go out into the crowd and find visitors to take on stage and dance.
Oh gawd, thats perfect! Is there anyway that I could arrange for two of my friends to be pulled up? Its a bit of payback from me to them.
Hahahaha, oh I see. Well let me see what I can do for you. Who would you like to be pulled up?
Ummmmthe one with the short blonde hair and red Aloha wear, and the one in the orange dress over there.
Okay. Will do. Now why dont you go and join them, the show is about to start.
Oh thank you so much!
Aole pilikiano problem maam. Now you go and enjoy.
Bette left the hostess stand with a little skip in her step and a wide grin on her face. She couldnt wait to see what they would look like in front of everyone at the luau, and she felt that this pay back served them right for interrupting them earlier today.
Hey babe. Is everything okay?
Oh yeah, everything is perfect T. Everything is perfect.
Tina cocked an eyebrow at Bette, wondering what she was up to, but she figured it had something to do with getting back at their friends. She just shook her head and smiled at Bette, before leaning in to give her a soft kiss on the lips.
Oh you little devil you. You got something planned dont you?
Who me? Never. Hahahaha
Mhmmmmmm.
Tina decided to just wait and see what Bette had in store for their friends. They were all busy gabbing away, when they heard the sound of a conch shell being blown. The women abruptly ended their conversation, and looked to see where the noise was coming from. The sound of the conch shell seemed to be getting closer and before they knew it four well tanned, well muscled men were running out from either side of the grounds, dressed in malos (loin cloths) lighting the torches that lined the luau grounds. They watched in awe as the men circled the area, blowing the conch shells and lighting the torches, much like it must have been done in the olden days.
