La Mer PT 6

CH 8

I could see the hungry look Carmen gave me when I walked out of the locker room. I dove into the water to cool down. Cool like the mountain…cool like the drops hanging on her lips, her lips that are seconds from my mouth.  This is the point of no return. If I do this…if I kiss her…it’s all over. It hurts somewhere within me…the longer we don’t move the closer we don’t get…the faster the burn the longer the ache. This internal monologue was getting more ridicules.

“I want to kiss you so bad….it hurts…” I tell her.

“I know…”

“I can’t I don’t want to….have anything get in the way of your recovery…”

“I know…”

“I think about you all the time….when I go to sleep. When I wake up…when I’m in the shower…I think about why you’re not in the shower with me….I think about…all the things we can do together…”

“I know…”

“I can’t explain it the way I feel…”

“I know…Shane….we…should get back to work…we should…’

Her lips moved or she moved and in that one swift movement we were kissing…hard fast…kissing like we had just invented it. Her mouth was unlike any I had ever kissed. We where backing further into the pool I held her tight not wanting her to fall…her back was on the wall of the pool…her hands where on my neck…she pulls away…

“Oh god I am sorry…”

“No I am sorry…, no fuck it I am not sorry…”

And I kiss her again. And I feel her, her breasts and I feel her lips soft. And the moans that come from her making me crazy….she pulls away…and I feel so crazy…

“Shane we have to stop…please …I “

She is leaning her head on my shoulder. The line being drawn….we seriously fucked up today.

Somehow we had our session. Somehow we found a way to get work done. Somehow I knew kissing Shane was going to be the most intense thing I have ever done.

 Shane was like a machine. She gave out commands in the water and I followed them. She was mean and bossy and it made me forget for a moment that we had a full on make out session just an hour earlier. When we were finished she helps me get out of water and walked away without saying a word to me. A few minutes later an orderly came over and helped me back to my room.
