“When I first heard her speak your name I knew then she held you in the highest of regards. This occurred when I returned home after being away all those years I gave a listening ear as she carried on about the infamous Tina Kennard, “she says smiling at her.

“Family………, “she says pausing, “Creating such is one of the greatest gifts bestowed upon any woman.” As the conversation continued Tina felt more at ease in sharing with her the secret contained in the letters, a secret even Bette wasn’t aware she knew.

“In seeing the letters spill from their box I panicked as I did not want you to see they were———-,”Tina pauses upon hearing a sudden noise of cracking branches and rustling tress. Kit, hearing it as well grabs her sword then quickly stands to her feet. Signaling for Tina to join her she stands behind her remaining silent both looking ahead they await for what was to emerge from the darkness. The movement was becoming more erratic staring head on both Kit and Tina wait in anticipation. They didn’t have to wait long as a body not able to stand falls face first onto the ground. Not sure what to do next both Kit and Tina looked on in confusion as the body lay completely still. Feeling a tug upon the hem of her cloak a frightened Tina jumps in the air.

“Tina, “Kit yells turning around to face her.

“Something tugged upon my heel!” Assuming it was a small animal Kit looks towards in search of the culprit.

“It must have been a wondering creature who has scattered elsewhere.”

“Kit, the body moves, “she says looking over her shoulder as whomever fell begin to move restlessly amongst the ground.

“Remain here until I state otherwise.”

“Do not walk upon such placing yourself in danger!”

“I will remain careful, “walking with her sword drawn in front of her she cautiously makes her way towards the body. As she draws closer she could see a small puddle of blood began to form underneath. Using the tip of her sword she gently pokes the back of the fallen. Feeling the light pokes the body begins to squirm using all of its strength flipping onto its back. Kit, watching on is surprised to see it was a woman and not an animal as she suspected.
