    Lesbiannicus: The Beginning

There was a social hierarchy in place the ruling purpose as every citizen were to be treated as equal. Plentiful crops, wealth, supplies, and tranquility bestowed the land in which the citizens pledged their love and allegiances to the ruling family and queen. Any promises the queen made she always kept true to her word as her citizens faithfulness and devotion in her she believed kept the Gods happy. In return for their happiness they continued to bless her, her family, and her people.

Queen Lenore the reigning Queen of Lesbiannicus and the Royal House of Piezecki was loved by all. She ruled with love and a stead fist. Her mother passed when she was nine years old due to her young age and lack of maturity her Aunt Leticia was made conservator overseeing legal and important matters with the assistance of an appointed counsel. The day before Lenore turned 16 her aunt passed away dying from the same illness that consumed her mother. Before, her death her mother promised her to be married to Queen Aurora. Lenore was kind, gentle hearted, and loving Aurora on the other hand could be strict at times, strong, and overbearing. Their personalities were a direct result of the environments they derived from. After turning 18 they were officially married although they were united under an arranged marriage in a short time they had fallen in love with one another. Together they were blessed with six beautiful daughters raising them all within the confines of Castle Azzuré. While giving birth to their youngest Queen Aurora died suddenly after her death Queen Lenore still heartbroken refused to marry again. There five eldest children Queen Aurora insisted they all be given names beginning with the letter L as a form of distinction to Lenore. To honor their love and her legacy there youngest was given the name Alice after Aurora a Celtic name meaning “noble”.

Queen Lenore loved her daughters more than anything in the world. They were all different and held their own uniqueness about them. They were opinionated in how they viewed the world some seeing the world in black and white while the others viewed it in color. Her two eldest daughters took after her late wife they were soldiers and very head strong. When they asked to join the royal army it came as no surprise when Lenore resisted. After further thought she agreed where her daughters now held the position of 1st and 2nd Lieutenants in command. The three middle children were not fighters but took a liking to politics. They were all effective members holding prominent positions on the royal court, counsel, and senate. Then there was Alice who was born with no warrior instinct or held no interest in politics. She was the youngest so it came as no surprise she was born with a vibrant yet sensitive demeanor. She wore her heart on her sleeve and any injustice she witnessed would bring tears to her eyes. Her sisters would always poke fun at her for being too emotional and when they did that would cause her to cry to. They loved her dearly and they all watched over and protected her. Out of all of Lenore’s children she worried about Alice the most. She was now in her early 20’s and had yet to find something that drove or interest her. Alice unlike her other daughters hadn’t been exposed much to the outside world. She was naïve in many ways always seeing good in those never meant deserving of it. While her other sisters were commanding an army or debating issues amongst the council Alice spent the majority of her time taking long walks and reading books.
