Dana was nervous, her palms were sweaty, and Shane didn’t know how to calm her.  She had tried holding her touching her
    kissing her nothing had worked.
    Dana
paced the back of the Planet, eyes
    darting everywhere.
    Shane
was still blind, not having seen even
the hint of a shadow in the last day and a half.  She was on a plane in a few hours to
    Atlanta
to have her sight restored, permanently
    she hoped.

The reporters were scheduled to be
    here any moment now.
Dana had decided to use the back room of the
Planet for the press conference.  It was
a safe place, and she did own part of the establishment, it was hers.  The reporters that would tear their
relationship to pieces, scrutinizing it, analyzing it and putting it under the
microscope that they’d never had the guts to do.  Shane rubbed the bridge of her nose; she
pulled the sunglasses that Dana had bought her onto her face.  Hiding the fear that was residing in her eyes
hiding the doubt hiding the pure relentless emotions.  It seemed like an eternity ago that she’d
given them to her.  How small things
stuck with you, the cane, and the sunglasses.
The books that she was still reading, Dana, sweet Dana.

She didn’t deserve this, to be drug
through the mud all in the name of Shane ‘I’ll
    ***** Anyone’
    McCutcheon.
Shane had always regretted her time on the streets.  In a small way, not dwelling on it, just
knowing it was something she’d had to do.
She’d had to get away.  She had
known she didn’t belong in Small Town USA.
Now that past, was back, raging its ugly head and poor Dana was the one
getting the fiery back lash of it.

“Dane?”  Shane finally spoke up, and Dana stopped
short.  She looked at Shane as if seeing
her for the first time.  Goddamn she was
beautiful, her hair a mess, her sleeveless shirt hugging her body, showing off
the barely there breast that Dana enjoyed touching, teasing and suckling.  She sighed, her body in lust 24/7 now, she’d
never been that way before.  The odd
things that love did to you.  It made
your brain foggy your body a hotbed of emotions and feelings.

Dana moved to Shane, and took her
face in her hands.  Dana stared down at
Shane, tears brimming in her eyes.  Dana
wanted nothing more than to run away with Shane and start over, leave it all
behind.  If Dana could accept her for who
she was now, why couldn’t the world?
Didn’t they know that the past was just that, the past?

    1. I do believe that Tonya maded some brownie point today, Alice needs to talk to ..cass and Tina. Poor Bette got fired. Franklin is doing a little fairey dance all over the CAC. Bette will come out the winner in the end. Thanks

    2. I hate to admit this but….I really love Tonya right now!!! That was awesome what she did, and for once so selfless. I really think Daisy and Alice should come clean to each other, before Cass goes for the adoption. I do want Daisy with Cass&Tina, but it still seems that Al is hurting.
