    Life: Altered 03.67 ~*~ Taken

     

                “WHAT?”  The crowd said in an almost collective voice,
    Dana turned away, hiding in Shane’s arms. 
    Shane laughed a deep throaty laugh. 
    She waved her hand around, making them all finally fall silent.  Shane pulled Dana closer, cuddling her in her
    arms, relishing in the fact that she could now see the hot blush in her cheeks.

     

                “Look.  Dana and I had this discussion…”  Shane began, her head hanging low.

     

                “We had a fight…”  Dana interjected, rolling her eyes and her
    hands moving around in front of her.

     

                “We had a discussion…”  Shane reaffirmed, looking at her with wide
    dark green eyes.  “Anyway, we kinna
    thought that if we were really serious, and you know we are…”

     

                “No ***** you got married!”  Cass said with a laugh, the crowd laughed too
    and Shane had to beam.

     

                “Right, well that’s just it.  We thought even if I get my sight back we should
    commit when the going is tough, and not when it’s easy.  Cuz god knows, I’m not exactly the kinna girl
    you’d think would get married….”  Shane
    said and Dana giggled,

     

                “So we flew to Vancouver…” 

     

                “Where you know, its legal for us
    dykes to get married…”  Shane chipped
    in, Daisy rolled her eyes at the way they bounced off one another.  If they were any cuter, she’d have to puke.

     

                She saw Rosita making her way
    through the crowd towards her, her dark hair falling into soft curls in her
    eyes, she blew a stand away.  Daisy
    looked down, and then smiled as she leaned up against the stage next do Daisy
    without a word.  Daisy reached over,
    touching her shoulder and Ro reached up, interlacing her fingers around
    Daisy’s.

     

                “So Tonya…”  Dana began, and a soft gasp from the
    crowd.  “She called the Prada people,
    asked them if they wanted to do a wedding spread…  If this ‘so called cheap *****..’ Tonya’s
    words, not mine, was such a playboy, why was she getting married! They bought
    it!” 

     

                “Sam flew in…”  Shane added, and they looked around, seeing
    that the tomboy doctor was already gone. 
    Shane smirked, the woman never did seem to stay on the scene very long.

     

                “We did a spread for them and
    Absolut Vodka…  The whole nine yards!”  Dana pitched in with some glee.

    1. I PMed you regarding hangin’ with Exs. Hey and Tina is not quite spineless, though she is somewhat passive aggressive, somewhat self sacrificing…Ok, she is a bit spineless. Although many of her actions are motivated by hurt, she is stronger in this fanfic. How will she be in the Gathering? I am so looking forward. How old is Daisy again, she should be (almost) pretty close to graduating, Si?

    2. Fuck me! Daisy really had a tough decision to make and again she never thought about herself. What a girl that is! Too bad that Rosita is the real victim here along with D herself of course.

    3. O.k. Here I go into wishful thinking mode, can Ro apply to a school where they’ll be living. Geez, Ro & Daisy didn’t even get to spend the night together :D (not yet anyway).Great chap.
