It was a sunny California morning and like many others, it was one filled with laughter, happiness and mischief. Bette and Tina were busy getting things ready for Skys bedroom, which had just been completed a few months ago. The construction had began when Sky was about six months old or so, and up until that point Bette and Tina were not sure what they wanted to do about where his bed was going to go, and they were going to have Liz and Sky share Lizs room, but after they thought about it they realized it was not a good idea. Thankfully, Tina had been really good about their savings and managing their money so they had plenty of money to have two additional rooms built onto their house. One room was going to be for Sky and the other was a small office for Bette. Now that they had two kids at home Bette really wanted to make sure that she was available so she negotiated a contract with Franklin to work at home two days a week whenever the CAC was between shows.

The office had gone up first and Bette and Tina worked hard to get it ready quickly and both women were happy with the arrangement since it allowed Tina to go back to work full time. Nancy would come over every day, regardless if Bette were home or not, and she would watch Sky and go pick up Liz from school if Tina couldnt get home in time to do so. Tina went back to work at a smaller publicity firm which dealt with independent films and she was really loving it. Bette had never seen her so happy and for once, the family felt like a traditional family. Bette also cut her hours back when she did have to go to the office and ever since her new contract had been in effect, she had only come home really late a handful of times.

With Bette and Tina working so hard to get Skys room done, this left Liz and Sky to entertain themselves, which we all know was probably a bad idea. On this particular day, Bette and Tina were getting all the furniture arranged in Skys room and his room was pretty much complete except for the bookcase and shelves that they were putting in at the moment. In the morning Liz and Sky had been good about keeping themselves out of trouble since Tina and Bette promised them that if they behaved for a few hours that they would get to do something fun at night. A wide variety of cartoons and Disney movies had kept the kids entertained for about an hour or so but then boredom set in and things went straight downhill from there.
