“What do you have against Legos, after all it was you that bought her the first ones.” Ivy said.

“I don’t have anything against them, But when she filled her second container like that I had enough.” Bette said. “None of you have stepped on one barefoot. Believe me it hurts like hell.”

“Okay you guys have to open yours from me.” Jess said pulling out two identical gifts and handed one to Bette and one to Tina. Tina unwrapped hers first.

“Oh I love it.” She said showing a frame that Jess decorated at one of those make your own plates places. It had a picture of Tina holding Jess in the swimming pool. It was Tina’s favorite picture of the two of them. She pulled Jess into her lap and hugged her.

“Your turn Mom.” Jess said. Bette unwrapped hers and it was a picture frame like Tina’s only colored differently and had a picture of her and Jess at the Park. This was one of Bette’s favorite pictures of her Jess.

“How did you know this was my favorite” Bette said.

“Because you said so silly” Jess said.

“Okay Kiddo open mine before I have to go get ready for lunch.” Kit said. Bette put a large box down in front of Jess. Jess ripped into the box and pulled out an art kit.

“Wow Jess look it is the art kit you had on your list.” Tina said.

“Thanks Aunt Kit” Jess said.

“You are welcome baby girl now you can draw me some more pictures to hang up at the Planet.” Kit said. Jess opened it and started to look at the different paints and pens. “I gotta go or the place won’t be ready by 1.” Kit said standing up.

“Yeah we better get outta here so we can get ready to.” Alice said.

“We are going to follow you out.” Mimi and Ivy said.

“Us to” Dana and Shane said.

“Okay guys we will see you at 1.” Bette said. Everyone said their goodbyes and left.

“Jess you have one more.” Bette said handing her the last gift from under the tree.

“Who is it from?” Jess asked.

“Daddy.” Bette said.

“Another from Granddaddy” Jess said.
