Bette and Tina were in the kitchen hugging and kissing each other and still laughing about the fact that Sarah was the one being hit on by a girl. Bette let go of Tina and took Angelica out of her maxi cosy. She hugged her daughter close and kissed her on the forehead. Tina watched her wife with so much love. Everyday since Angelica was born she fell even more in love with Bette. She had really changed. There was still some of the old Bette left, but Tina wouldn’t want it any other way. Tina walked over to her wife and daughter and kissed them both. Then she asked “Honey, would you mind giving Angelica her bottle and then put her to sleep?” “Of course not baby!” Bette answered. “Good, I’m going to go and talk with Sarah. She was really quiet on the way home.” Tina walked to Sarah’s room and gently knocked on the door. “Come in” Sarah called out. Tina walked in and saw Sarah lying on her bed staring at the ceiling while listening to some music. Tina walked over to her and sat down on the bed. Sarah looked at Tina as tears started to form in her eyes. “You okay?” Tina asked softly. Sarah shook her head no and started crying. Tina hugged her niece closer to her and put her head in her lap. She softly stroked Sarah’s hair. “I just miss her so much!” she said in between sobs. “I know honey!” Tina said, “I miss her too!” Tina kept stroking Sarah’s hair until the sobbing stopped. “I’m sorry!” Sarah whispered. “Don’t be honey! You’ve got every right to cry.” Tina said. Sarah turned onto her back to look at Tina. “I love you aunt T.” “I love you too Sarah. Now try to get some sleep okay!” Sarah just nodded her head, closed her eyes and fell asleep.

Tina got up and quietly got out of the room. As she entered her room, she saw Bette already in bed. She quickly undressed and crawled naked under the covers. To her surprise Bette was also naked. She cuddled close to Bette facing her. Bette’s eyes were closed so Tina just stared at Bette. She softly stroked Bette’s cheek with her fingertips. Then she traced her fingers over Bette’s soft lips. She let her fingers linger there and Bette softly kissed them. She opened her eyes and smiled at Tina. “She all right?” Bette asked. “She will be. She’s sleeping!” Tina replied. “How are you doing?” Bette asked concerned about her wife. “I’m doing fine, thanks to you!”
